- Crytek to move headquarters from Frankfurt to Istanbul after $500M investment by Turkish gov. #rhreinmainrocks https://t.co/zV829l1WDs
- @PreusslerBerlin interessant in welchem Sinne?

- @rootkohl well, I've tried to add a price tag to "awesome team", too. That might actually be a binary property, because I would not keep
- @rootkohl working with a horrible team. But having an awesome team definitely reduces the need for "monetary pain compensation".

- What is your take on the state of enterprise software from a user perspective? I think the "appification" is full on.
- Where maybe 10 years back, users would invest time to "learn" a new user interface and functionality because software was seen as something
- well worth investing in, because it was there to improve your day-to-day work, and you would accept some of its quirks and awkward UI.
- But today, users in general are no longer willing to invest time into learning a new program and its UI features.
- They expect simple screens that are self-explanatory and serve one simple goal.
- Which is great, because I can now develop the features of a "suite" as independent products, with their own release cycles.
- They share a SSO and the same UI paradigmas, but that is easy. As long as you give your users a "home screen" as a starting point,
- they will be happily switching between the apps.
- This enables you to have the ultimate usability: per use-case, context-sensitive UI instead of compromising for integrating everything.
- @TAKEaCiCi yes! And I'm still waiting for a chance to see a longer version of this talk ...
