- Wow. https://t.co/pRKO1layMz
- @s2engineers @kotzendekrabbe Thank you for the support!
- Ohh, I really like this proposal to add the ? as a new ECMAScript operator: https://t.co/BXkUP3zpMi The example here is from https://t.co/zTiySJsXCi and motivated especially by #GraphQL users. https://t.co/81BdqhbZMg
- For the next 24 hours it is @gdcfpday and I have recorded this 15 minute lightning talk about Call for Papers for that occasion: https://t.co/kHSbKM7IOa Ask me here or via DM if you have any questions, I'm happy to help!
- @marcoemrich Well, there are many examples where you want you look into a deeply nested object, and many of the nodes could be undefined. AWS SDK is another example where this is a common behavior.
- Ready to give my lightning talk about Call for Papers in Frankfurt, remotely from Trondheim 🇳🇴 for @gdcfpday. https://t.co/98evs883Nf
- @helpermethod @Niklas_L @groovylang Seems like you JVM people encountered this problem a little earlier ;-)
- @kotzendekrabbe @gdcfpday I guess you are busy now, but I made a recording just in case the live stream dies: https://t.co/mw8rn2KL9I It would have been great to be at a workshop in Person but Trondheim has none ... maybe next year :-)
- @troubalex @kotzendekrabbe @gdcfpday On my todo list for this year, and to get @NordicTweets to be the location sponsor in Trondheim! https://t.co/smomzyi1vL
- Slides are here: https://t.co/5KlfsP90wy Reach out, I'm available all day! #gdcfpday #gdcfpday2019 https://t.co/5kMu5jn9Sv
- Hanging in the #gdcfpday2019 video call in #Frankfurt and listening to the awesome @vicbergquist talking about finding ideas to speak about! #gdcfpday https://t.co/VZH18oD47D
- @emsuiko @vicbergquist So true: @vicbergquist "If you have a background from two different professions this gives you a unique point of view which you can combine in a great talk."
- Can YOU move your entire company to optimize for happiness? https://t.co/3RlrpmWOhM
- If you give me an average in the form of "X to Y" you don't know how averages work.
- Oh what a great tip from @mo_szy on how to write a good speaker bio: take a bio you really like (e.g. like @richardbranson's) and change it into yours. It might not make sense but it's a good starting point! #gdcfpday2019 #gdcfpday
- "People giving talks, are just people like us." Great thing to keep in mind! #gdcfpday2019 #gdcfpday
- I wrote a blog post on the things I covered about Call for Proposals in the lightning talk: https://t.co/mIlW3G2C8N #gdcfpday2019 #gdcfpday https://t.co/mw8rn2KL9I
- Survey on Android Pattern Security: How strong are those patterns? Try it now! https://t.co/HBrzmytsG6 #android #pattern #strength
- A big thank you @emsuiko and @vicbergquist for being my personal heroes today 🤸♀️ and making it possible for me to attend the #gdcfpday in Frankfurt remotely! https://t.co/MRPQhZPVYv
- @vicbergquist ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
- @rinkkasatiainen @offbyoni @AmelieCornelis @goosebumps4 @codecopkofler Sounds good, @kamilleblumm and me are thinking about flying from Germany. What would be the next airport?
- Disgusting: Apple and Google are "accomplices in the oppression of Saudi Arabian women.": https://t.co/9ZDmp3IIvi https://t.co/C37m0H7FNP
- @mediafinger My dude, how this glitch makes it ok for a company to work with a totalitarian regime on streamlining the oppression and control of another human eludes me.
- @mediafinger No, this is exactly what that article is about. THAT discussion. "The ingenuity of American technology companies should not be perverted to violate the human rights of Saudi women. Twenty first century innovations should not perpetuate sixteenth century tyranny."
- @mediafinger Google and Apple chose to help in the commodification and digitization of human trafficking. They help to keep this system in place and make it even more efficient. There is no upside in it, for nobody.
- @mediafinger Your argument that a glitch makes the oppression better for women and slave workers comes from a perverted techno loving point of view which assumes that everybody is able to use a smartphone.
- @mediafinger Tech is the problem, because now with it you can fix glitches easily. Unauthorized access? Use finger print, facial recognition. With smartphones in the picture you could even implement a short lived push notification based system to "approve" travel on border controls.
- @mediafinger Google and Apple provide their platform knowingly to these atrocities but decide to take a neutral position and say: this is legal. THAT is the point here.
- Say goodbye to your frontend bundler with @pikapkg: https://t.co/PEEm52x0Jz
- @e1g https://t.co/l0TTZ2TBJM
- Living in a country without Fasching: priceless. 🇳🇴
- @troubalex HAHA! I know what you mean! 😅 https://t.co/Xwl3dBMTw1
- PSA: If you are in Germany this week, all bets are off. https://t.co/YS4rpWc6v2
- Why Germans always know where the next fax is: We have this ruling in Germany where the signature on a document is not valid if you send it as an email attachment. But if you fax it it's perfectly fine.
- @_StephanRoth Ja.
- Certified German! https://t.co/wn1zhk3Faa
- @jen_star Same, there was one event in Trondheim, and by the looks of it nobody went: https://t.co/RpyYhOKruR Norwegians prefer skiing, I guess.
- @toggleModal Damn.
- @AmelieCornelis @rinkkasatiainen @offbyoni @goosebumps4 @codecopkofler @kamilleblumm Sounds good as well!

- "Web services and apps can — and should—turn on #WebAuthn to give their users the option to log in more easily via biometrics, mobile devices and/or FIDO security keys, and with much higher security over passwords alone." https://t.co/KffeRkNoyn
- @Paratron That exists, examples are listed in the second link. The point is to have that without a library dependency.
- @Paratron Also, while this works™, it's not typeable (as it cannot be parsed into an AST).
- @avdi @MaritvanDijk77 Become a speaker.
- @EVSHNord @EngelVoelkersHQ @WieVieleFrauen ...
- @maaretp Tell me more!
- Who will be at @awscloud DevDays in Oslo on April 3rd?
- If you think you need a mobile app, first check out what you can do with websites today: https://t.co/Q7WMQthCXF
- @rinkkasatiainen @maaretp Now I want to know EVERYTHING! https://t.co/mg1HonzcLE
- "I don’t trust people who always say yes. “Yes, I can finish that today.” “Yes, I tested it and it works and I didn’t find any bugs.” “Yes, I captured what you said in these notes.”" Great post on the power of "I don't know." https://t.co/kNb6n6mmGx
- Got some cool swag today @NordicTweets 😁. #nrf9160 https://t.co/JGa87Q2mDr
- @NordicTweets Love it, simple design but the golden print rocks!
- @JSCraftCamp the twitter bio is outdated...
- Such an epic trance track! https://t.co/wh9qo02kQt #trancefamily
- So important! There are very few shortcuta for fully understand a problem. https://t.co/LqZiBnMWVD
- @BGGajda @NordicTweets That's T-Shirt weather in Norway! 🇳🇴
- @Ravetracer There are no "standard" libraries in JS. Popularity does not equal quality...
- I wonder how a #functional implementation of the repository pattern ( https://t.co/NueKwjUHNG ) would look like. In the past I used to define an interface (in TypeScript) which defines instance methods: https://t.co/wBbgs9C8RV
- I struggle in turning the implementation (e.g. this one: https://t.co/96FpTjUVmJ) into something nice. Removing `this` in the class methods and turning them into pure functions which receive the `findAll` method as a parameter does not look nice.
- Some pointers / ideas would be greatly appreciated.
- @Ravetracer Well, jest is a big dependency and its code will not end up in the deployment, so you can safely ignore warnings for it.
- @alipasha Thanks for the pointers, will check them out!
- @vicbergquist @browserstack has a screenshot API which is free for open-source: https://t.co/r3KYCOpfVm
- @vicbergquist @emsuiko @codemonauts Tok du med waffler?!
- @vicbergquist Americans when they talk about Europe: https://t.co/WjDIcfZwdt
- @RebeccaSGold @geekgalgroks Thank you! 💪
- @emsuiko Keep learning. You are never done.
- @w3ltraumpirat I have my source in @papercall_io and adapt from there.
- @netzvagabund @emsuiko You could time-box it: make a list of all the topics you want to learn and distill that down to ~10 if there too many. Then spent a short time (1-2 hours) per topic to learn about the basics (watch an Intro video on YT or do the Getting Started guide if it's software).
- @netzvagabund @emsuiko After that you should have a better understanding of what makes sense for you. And you will also discover related topics, and even the underlying principles to learn.
- How to figure out what to learn next: https://t.co/Pvws7mEl2A
- @emsuiko No, oftentimes not, because we get told in school&uni: learn this and you are ready for to job marked. That can lead to the false assumption that you have learned everything necessary once you start working.
- @wolframkriesing I stopped using function, done. https://t.co/CplTsTflis
- Bought! https://t.co/NSv5NoSdMK
- @NativeWired Shit, thanks for sharing and I hope this story reaches those who need to hear it.
- Value Types: https://t.co/BuASKQyvP3 On runtime validation with #typescript.
- Dem @wmfra beiwohnen Dank @Livestream_DE auch in Norwegen. 🇳🇴 https://t.co/1lYELXi0XT
- #dauerwerbesendung #wmfra
- Really awesome and heartwarming talk by @mirjam_diala about @ConfBuddy tonight @wmfra. Find buddies to go to conferences! #wmfra https://t.co/3Ypu46vECW
- We had a #saunabuddy match @wmfra! https://t.co/aSyZpLFIb9
- @alexschnapper @mirjam_diala @ConfBuddy @wmfra Danke Alex! 👋
- @mirjam_diala !!! 💪 https://t.co/YPAjaZJVta
- @jen_star @stadtkindFFM Hier kamen heute in 1h 5cm Schnee dazu: https://t.co/bX44xsYbBR
- 😁 https://t.co/xS7QtnXZOt
- Dust sensor on @Espruino is running, now I'm going to connect it to the internet! #iot https://t.co/IoZQFPBZiJ
- @martinjuhasz It's a nova SDS011, as recommended by @luftdaten: https://t.co/SJ0q4WRb0D
- @Espruino @alexschnapper @jke what are "normal" indoor values from the SDS011? Does this look ok? pm2.5: 0.2pm10: 0.8 pm2.5: 0.2pm10: 0.8 pm2.5: 0.2pm10: 1.3 pm2.5: 0.2pm10: 1.4 pm2.5: 0.2pm10: 1.4 pm2.5: 0.2pm10: 1.4
- @jke @Espruino @alexschnapper Cool, thanks.
- @findingmarbles I established regular 1 on 1s with friends where we would meet for a lunch together. That is usually something that can be made fit even with busy people.
- @findingmarbles Yes, this sucks. We are currently in the same situation, having moved abroad we no longer can meet quickly with the people we love.
- A blog about this is up on the @NordicTweets #DevZone now: https://t.co/cOPJxiZS6A https://t.co/hUFLEGBNp7
- LOL https://t.co/M5mGVLnB4H
- @rinkkasatiainen @ambientia I have never given a workshop, but I could give one about managing AWS serverless with CDK and/or how to write the e2e tests for a cloud native solution.
- @github An event like this needs @ConfBuddy!
- .@SmartBear's 6th annual State of Code Review survey is here: https://t.co/4YltA8sEZL I found last years report highly interesting, so please take the time to participate.
- I just recommended this article on Test-Driven Development with React, Jest, and Enzyme to a coworker: https://t.co/u8jn2av4ku

- Nice! @witty_jobs created a job platform especially for #womenintech. Browse tech job opportunities that match your needs and find your dream-job: https://t.co/qfBtdRz9HT
- @witty_jobs Well deserved, thanks for taking on this important work! 💪
- @w3ltraumpirat @c089 Haha, talk to @ntboes, he can tell you amazing stuff about them ...
- The effortless open-source tool for event organisation, archival and collaboration: https://t.co/1PbB4xHgXs Used by @CERN to to manage more than 300 000 events of different complexities and 200 meeting and conference rooms.
- This is cool: synthetic sensors by @gierad. https://t.co/Vt0X3OKly4 General-purpose sensing, wherein a single, highly capable sensor can indirectly monitor a large context, without direct instrumentation of objects. https://t.co/AiJBN7JLDO
- @einarwh You make a very good point: the value is created through collaboration, not by producing code. But, a lot of the issues you point out with Softwarecraft"men" are in my experience no longer valid. As a community we moved beyond those years ago.
- @einarwh I invite you to join us at one of the many Software Crafters unconferences around Europe, maybe @SoCraTes_Conf in August, or @codefreeze_fi in January. You can find more on https://t.co/zCoTsgR8yL.
- @einarwh @SoCraTes_Conf @codefreeze_fi You will find that we mostly talk about the important stuff that happens when we are not sitting in front of our keyboards...
- @einarwh @SoCraTes_Conf @codefreeze_fi Yes, those will always be around. But it is especially great for me that they have been made obsolete and there are many new crafters who join our community every year. It surprised even me: https://t.co/2aE3MIoecD
- @wellendonner We brought all or cats leftovers to the local animal shelter. They were very happy!
- "Luck intervenes by granting people merit, and again by furnishing circumstances in which merit can translate into success." https://t.co/Dhp4wx40Oz
- @wolframkriesing @JSCraftCamp Twitter works best for me to discover conferences...
- For IntelliJ based IDEs: https://t.co/FQdVRdh5EG https://t.co/yk53emWgd8
- What a day! #trondheim 🇳🇴 https://t.co/eo8L8b17Wz
- @gazebo_c I'm happy I could share this for your enjoyment!
- I am getting more and more convinced that classes in #JavaScript or #TypeScript are an anti-pattern. At least in the way I use them. https://t.co/FoOBxK1mVM
- @bitandbang @AhmadNassri @liran_tal Why are you not publishing the lock files, then?
- @flarup Moto G5: https://t.co/T6QRExWiJY
- Москва́ in December? 🤔 @HeisenbugConf Sounds cool! https://t.co/FC4CqQi1vj
- @PapaMinos @HeisenbugConf https://t.co/CjP4uUZJvn
- I own stock options now. https://t.co/Dp5kWdwQad
- @RidingWolf Somewhere in the future, maybe a SuperCamperVan! https://t.co/ONh6doxXgt
- @RidingWolf yessss. https://t.co/eEG5h8TbBm
- Na sicher! https://t.co/OubIVRTImj
- @MattBolton365 Great company and a currently very undervalued stock price. So getting options now is nice.
- "The fastest blockchain in the world" https://t.co/9IKuzv9vRl
- I guess I will never have to buy a gaming PC again: https://t.co/tGmNU4Ntld
- .@typescriptlang is really creative with SemVer: https://t.co/lStEgbKRSy https://t.co/mAfP1fZ1ZR
- @vicbergquist I don't care much about swag, but if conferences would put more money into reducing the amount of trash created that would be A+. Otherwise: Re-usable coffee cups. Credits/Voucher to test sponsor services.
- Very much looking forward to the @epsagon webinar with @heitor_lessa and @ranrib on Serverless Observability now: https://t.co/FW6g4XffeU
- I mean, look at this awesome visualization of a serverless request: https://t.co/2y7PsTPgr0
- @SamirTalwar Combining this with @pikapkg could be awesome!
- @Idento_one @berntco Looking at https://t.co/TT81v1NN4T I do not see proof of the claims. The vehicle control demo is a nice gimmick, but a questionable real world scenario. That site only shows #blabla and in the video you can only observe ~1TPS. It's a closed system with two nodes. https://t.co/90xjHBZtLF
- @Idento_one @berntco How about a real case study / whitepaper from the Enterprise and Consortium projects you claim to have realized?
- @Idento_one @berntco And don't get me started on @idento_one claims to give users control about their data. A blockchain will never solve the main problem: an actor who once had access to the data can make their own copy (and sometimes have to). You cannot add self-destruct to copied data.
- @mirjam_diala @berlinjs This is the typical understanding of Germans about their ability to speak English: it's binary, either you speak a native speaker or you just don't. Don't worry! So many people on this planet have learned to speak English only later in their life, so you are not alone!
- @FranziskaNaja Rockt!
- @SamirTalwar @pikapkg Not entirely sure, they seem resolve deps to CDNs like @unpkg: https://t.co/ZC58vCjN09 I have it on my todo list for this week ...
- @Ravetracer Irgendwas mit Web machst Du doch :-p
- @Idento_one @berntco Velkomme! Not the best time to be here, it's rainy and wet today.
- @mirjam_diala @berlinjs Richtig! https://t.co/XoqD9MMD7M
- If you think it's hard to contribute to open-source projects ... watch me: https://t.co/P1PQhKbjNX
- @liran_tal RIGHT?! This is the perfect example why you don't want semicolons in your JS: depending where the Semi is in that file, it changes the meaning. But I gave up on that fight a while ago, @PrettierCode now adds the semis for me. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- @liran_tal @PrettierCode So, Prettier is not so opinionated after all ... 🤔
- Do it! They will: reimburse your travel costs pay 3 nights in a hotel give you the conference ticket https://t.co/f2IF6ME1mr
- 😭 https://t.co/08AtiwqvIg
- https://t.co/eYBDbWqTAS is a list of 1,900 remote companies.
- @mirjam_diala Yeah, the route between Frankfurt and Berlin is especially terrible when it comes to cell coverage...
- @mirjam_diala HAHA. Good joke. Sorry. https://t.co/FBgS8B9QJ1
- @_mischi @mirjam_diala DB has their own GSM network: GSM-R which is currently used for Wifi ...
- Terrifying analysis by @mazmhussain about what influenced the New Zealand shooter's actions: https://t.co/fkl78CA2R1
- HA! I know use objects as arguments forever in #TypeScript to functions, because this is always annoying: const f1 = (arg1: string, arg2: boolean) => { // validate args, but must use new name const _arg1 = v1(arg1); const _arg2 = v2(arg2); } but this is cool:
- const f2 = (args: {arg1: string, arg2: boolean}) => { // can re-use name const [arg1, arg2] = [v1(args.arg1), v2(args.arg2)]; } TS Playground: https://t.co/cMFr6FURDF
- Bonus: when using many scalars in arguments it can be easy to mix them up. const f1 = (file: string, folder: string) => { } f1('/tmp', 'foo.txt'); // spot the error?
- const f2 = (args: {file: string, folder: string}) => { } f2({ file: '/tmp', folder: 'foo.txt' }); // easier to see the error TS Playground: https://t.co/YgYseDBvmu This is especially true when the function is defined elsewhere.
- @rinkkasatiainen Yes! Using objects as args the order of the arguments becomes irrelevant, which is a nice bonus.
- @datenreisender On individual args you can use args.arg1 || defaultValue; Using destructuring assignment this will even be nicer: argsWithDefaults = { ...defaults, ...args }
- Everytime I meet Aki I learn so much! https://t.co/SwTOz8nu0T
- @SamirTalwar @jscamp Looking at today's events I'd say it's safe to say "No". 🤞
- @bessy_botti https://t.co/mc5XDh2c5U
- @bessy_botti Achso, du willst genau wissen, was die Struktur ist. Sieht nach einer Art Plantage aus. Man kann gut die kleinen Pflanzreihen erkennen. Runde Plantagen werden oft wegen der einfachen Bewaesserung verwendet: https://t.co/b6vaP80swa How about you call that place next to it and ask?
- @vicbergquist @NotionHQ Victoria has a way of explaining Notion that is irresistible. I'm close to switching over from my beloved Trello+GDocs combination... https://t.co/MFHSXwYxd4

- Arrived for the @awscloud meetup @webstep in #trondheim https://t.co/G3LocHQAyJ
- Great food from La Border Burrito Bar #Trondheim and offer go! https://t.co/VfQspuNI5r
- Now @Scott_Helme talks about how he hacks products and how easy it can be for anyone to get started. https://t.co/ptkvnE9YHJ
- "The representation of hackers in general media is so far off from what I do actually, it's terrible. The one show that gets close is Mr. Robot."
- Going to tech meetups in Trondheim is depressing. 40 attendees, all white men. #Diversity
- Hacking products is fun and easy but, when flaws are exposed the real world consequences can be a mess: bankruptcies, services taken down. It's good that Scott has the BBC backing him and his work. https://t.co/BNtkxIu0LF
- No special tools required to hack web applications, start with your browser's developer tools and use a proxy like https://t.co/H03Uvxfcdi for easier manipulate and replay requests.
- A lot of the stories @Scott_Helme shares are caused by terrible web application security. It's never a wrong time to revisit the @owasp top 10: https://t.co/fLndpGSseX https://t.co/odeabFRAu9
- If a security researcher contacts you, they don't have an agenda, they want to help you. If they had bad intentions they would not disclose a security issue but exploit it without you knowing.
- @w3ltraumpirat Ok, then my perception has been skewed by the amazing conferences I visited ...
- @vicbergquist I'm so sorry. It's good to hear that you are not alone in this.
- @pas2al @rradczewski @RealtimeBoard Yes, definitely check out RealtimeBoard, now called @MiroHQ.
- Living the dream! #Trondheim https://t.co/nO0JXAADCI
- I hope they needed to do this in order to stay around for a while longer. :/ https://t.co/OcOUSBMA8e
- @jurgenappelo @NativeWired @lunivore Wait, do you believe that because you want to speak means that you somehow get to speak at everything conference you want? I know you to be a fantastic and funny keynote speaker, but this makes you sound entitled.
- @jneen_ Yes, I agree. From the outside it does not look like all the adults were present when these decisions were made. It's definitely damaging NPMs image.
- @ktrajchevska @mozTechSpeakers Congrats! You belong there!
- @FrauMamonova That was fun!
- @bberrycarmen She is fantastic. I love her books, too: https://t.co/zjHp4rHr5K
- My kind of task: Working on a new helper to end-to-end #test email delivery from our app: a generic SMTP to GraphQL subscription gateway.

- @branaby @arne_mertz @type__error Time to get your make-up out!
- @maddiestone Get Churros next!
- Suomen Latu Kiilopää just posted this amazing aerial view of Kiilopää in #Lapland (https://t.co/gkOJWvo8q4) and I had to share it with you. This is where @codefreeze_fi is happening in January 2020 and I am already excited to go back! #codefreeze @OurLapland https://t.co/TYrXccauTV
