- @datenreisender @CodingBeing That there is an eslint rule is a good pointer that this behaviour is quite ambiguous...
- @CodingBeing JavaScript is also compiled. It's a decision made by the compiler author how this construct behaves.
- @CodingBeing Right. So if this were code for a statically compile language, you would expect that it does not allow a try/catch/finally construct with two returns? Wouldn't that be a complicated rule to not have a return in finally if there is one in try?
- @cm_zannini meet @benjamin! He is organizing an open-space about humans collaborating on software that you definitely should not miss! https://t.co/gfcKnIk6CZ
- @Jen_BMJ @DiscretionUiB Oh wow, fantastic news! Congrats, and big kudos for this very, very long journey you had and all the best for the amazing things to come!

- @meikeco Im WoMo hätten wir noch Platz auf der Rückreise...

- To be precise: it's an Austrian who had this problem and invented this solution! https://t.co/61Xg0wVkhh
- @amokleben Wir sind beide gleich lang auf Twitter... Und es ist faszinierend wie es zumindest für mich die einzige Community ist, in der ich kontinuierlich aktiv bin. Und diejenige die ich aktiv promote.
- This is the single most important thing to aim for in any organization. https://t.co/p17Oi0DNlc
- @Ravetracer @pegasusspiele Das sieht mega aus! Lohnt sich der Invest? Wir spielen schon viel Siedler ... Aber auch eher mit weniger fanatischen Brettspielern.
- @toggleModal https://t.co/hE6Z3rPpno
- @mirjam_diala I'm in! https://t.co/cuuTT4Lmh9
- I actually like that we've become a community that's much more aware of the fact that things are not simple. They are messy, and require us to be more considerate and to question our biases. https://t.co/tgsSDQuodq
- @dan_abramov REST in Practice is about building resilient web applications: https://t.co/NkMWwiyu91
- @gr2m @typescript Using TypeScript gets rid of an entire class of errors (how to properly call a function) and removes the need to test for proper arguments in the implementation of a function. This removes a lot of code I need to write (and maintain) because of JS beeing an untyped language.
- Firefox? https://t.co/bmjfUmfDSx
- @reconbot @gr2m @typescript Yes! It's really that simple: why on earth did we think that it's okay to have if (foo typeof undefined) in our codebase?!
- @da_berni_ @gr2m @typescript If you call untyped code (which you have to declare explicitly as unsafe in TypeScript), you have no checks. But that is the your decision, not TypeScripts fault.
- @da_berni_ @gr2m @typescript Right, it's the same. Also note that there is a big difference between compile time type checking and runtime type checking!
- .@pixaven provides and image manipulation API that uses Mac Pros hosted in Frankfurt: https://t.co/DXBJMjHRHt
- @mirjam_diala https://t.co/i3I142EcKs

- If your probe has a software failure and crashes from 2000m down to the ground ... It's time for @Bernhard_Weyhe to come to @wmfra and talk a little about what developers can support at @ESA_Tech. https://t.co/u7qM9QGpeP
- @K_Sufferland @wmfra Hehe, nur beide Seiten geben die komplette Story ;-)
- The @WTM_Frankfurt is an over 2,000 member strong women empowerment group! @thebihn puts it in the @wmfra spotlight: https://t.co/oZYW3ZmO6i

- @oredev @ConfBuddy Great that they arrived! 🙏
- Drinks, Sauna, Food, that's the plan for the @oredev speaker's dinner! https://t.co/k0y1cXRzek
- .@oredev has quite possibly the most epic speaker's dinner location, the true Scandinavian experience I know so far only from @codefreeze_fi: sauna, dip and good food! https://t.co/GDudcskg7t
- @sherrrylst @oredev Yeah, so cool to get to meet you IRL!
- @miskaknapek @oredev @codefreeze_fi It's the second time I'm in the city. It seems to grow everywhere you look...
- .@oredev @ConfBuddy meetup place is the information desk! https://t.co/c51Ly2qxY1
- Great location, I'm excited for my first @oredev! Now getting coffee! https://t.co/WB9sKnPxpu
- And we have a @ConfBuddy match @oredev! https://t.co/NKFJKUVQYI
- The fantastic @lightling is moderating this year's @oredev! Talk to her about all things #remote because she is one of *the* experts on that topic! #oredev2019 https://t.co/NtbOUfNQTu
- In his @oredev keynote @mfeathers dives deep into the factors that make for great development teams. #oredev2019 https://t.co/15hirIW5e6
- When looking at organizational design and change it's important to consider their implications on the software delivery process. -- @mfeathers wishes for more collaboration between transformation agents and developers. #oredev2019
- Now watching @allankellynet explaining @oredev what came after #noprojects: Continuous Digital https://t.co/qQmyNDUkv5
- @oredev how does the session rating work? Would be nice to know it now so I can rate a session right after it finished.

- while(true) { @ConfBuddy(); } #oredev2019 https://t.co/Y1C8D2H1Du
- In 6-8 weeks the #JavaScript implementation of @retest_en should be ready so it can be used with @Cypress_io! https://t.co/Pl3s45LClj
- @cowglow That's possible now. Events can rent these glass washers which have a 2 minute cleaning cycle already. Combine that with porcelain mugs during the event and you can even reduce the total amount of mugs to rent.
- I'm really psyched (as in @oredev's motto this year) to hear from @ladyleet and @robocell about the PAMStack: the principles to create inclusive architectures. https://t.co/gdziNF6dB5
- Having a tech stack that enables meaningful contributions for all experience levels keeps the work on it exciting and rewarding, and enables junior developers to grow more quickly. #pamstack #oredev2019
- Accessible architectures means having written and proven processes that are valid even in times of crisis. Documentation of expected behaviour and past decisions helps to reduce confusion and ambiguity which ultimately lead to frustration. #pamstack #oredev2019 https://t.co/Tf5imJrg4L
- The #Angular CLI is a great example of useful abstractions that hides complexity away from developers which creates the ability for junior developers to build and ship valuable features without having to deal with the complexities of setting up an entire Angular app. #oredev2019 https://t.co/L1QqITerH5
- Special mention by @ladyleet and @robocell of @typescript which makes authoring code so much more easier: #oredev2019 👏 https://t.co/8nyFVBmkCK
- @gr2m https://t.co/QSlZUsMVy1
- Turn around your way of promoting employees and have them find a person within the organisation that can replace them. This gives a big incentive to seniors to start mentoring! #pamstack #oredev2019
- Juniors on the other hand can encourage mentoring from seniors by documenting their findings and asking about code, changes and processes they do not understand or feel could be explained better. #pamstack #oredev2019
- That was a super packed talk by @ladyleet and @robocell which you definitely should catch online or at a conference some time! Slides: https://t.co/50HHROdVbW #pamstack #oredev2019 https://t.co/AiDtSRa9SE
- Mags (@3weststreet) tells a tough story @oredev about reflecting on our own purpose in our organization: #oredev2019 https://t.co/QIrAFx9gJy
- The Mobius framework helps to discover what needs to get done in order to achieve the desireable and important outcomes for your organisation: https://t.co/YR38RA5Jmf #oredev2019 https://t.co/r7iYpU30Ev
- Tracking improvements weekly on a scale towards the outcome is the most powerful way to the express progress and results, even while change is not yet finished. Improve -> Measure -> Learn #oredev2019 https://t.co/uPN3ztpNe0
- Now @expede takes us on a trip to the #postserverless distributed future. #oredev2019 https://t.co/ByxfXGnEpv

- I definitely should have a look at https://t.co/F9ydyRDB03 for storing app data in an offline-first scenay. #oredev2019
- One of the amazing upcoming things will be the ability to control access to PII data in a way the it never is available to companies while still enabling them to use it. 🤯
- Hey, I love these playful extra nametags @oredev! And thanks for the free barista coffee all day round! #speakerperks https://t.co/mwzs8X8DrV
- Now learning from the @jezhumble about 6 years of research on high performance teams @oredev. If you haven't, buy and read the fantastic Accelerate book he co-authored! https://t.co/V22hukNyrj
- Trunk Based Development https://t.co/oa0Vd17gny among the foremost technical practices to enable Continuous Delivery ... which is proven to increase developer satisfaction tremendously! 👏 #oredev2019 https://t.co/Ym4L4gt7o2
- How to change your culture? You change the way your teams work. And that's the amazing learning here: focus on technical capabilities (which are measurable!) and what follows is improved culture (more innovative, resilient and performant). #oredev2019 #accellerate
- All resources from @jezhumble talk @oredev are on https://t.co/HF8NhlvUg0 #oredev2019
- @oredev it would be cool if there was actually contact data for the speakers on the website so it's easy for attendees to reach out.
- In his keynote @LeanOnMyself gives a powerful parable: if you optimize for utilisation of individual teams (optimize for resource efficiency) in a multi-team process the lead time is high. Optimization for flow efficiency and your agility and delivery speed improves. #oredev2019
- Why Zara is making more money than their competition: they release a collection every 3 days. #oredev2019 https://t.co/TGxVbUeOVK

- I totally didn't expect to get labiaplasty explained. @oredev is full of surprises! ✌️ #oredev2019 https://t.co/0kJMZ40Eu5
- @jrosaproenca @BaileyHanna @oredev Would have been legendary with you! 💙
- @SebGreiner @hallo_frankfurt Dass wundert mich bei dem Autor nicht. Auch die Relevanz des Artikels für HF ist sehr fragwürdig.
- @Markus306 @mirkokaufmann @neoscms @EmmaWedekind @SaraSoueidan @csswizardry Thank you for adding me to this list. But what would you like me to talk about? I don't see much overlap to what I work on (IoT, Cloud Native, AWS) or what I'm passionate about (building adaptable software systems).
- @fgortazar Nice! ❤️🌍
- Preach! 💯 "We believe that the customer is the only one capable to judge and evaluate the quality of our product." @alanpage #oredev2019 #moderntesting https://t.co/GtGktlH1nJ
- I talked to @IKEA which has a massive booth here @oredev and they have massive innovation and digitalisation efforts going on, really exciting stuff is happening there that makes smart and eco-friendly goods available for a massive customer base. Check them out! #oredev2019 https://t.co/XzfRfQCcxT
- A good overview over how to document event driven APIs with @AsyncAPISpec by @IAmJerdog #oredev2019 https://t.co/6dEETzbt9O
- Goodbye 👋 @oredev, I'm so impressed with what the team delivered. I rarely have met an organizer group that was so welcoming, warmhearted and dedicated like on this event. 💯 Your attention detail is world class. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to experience it. #oredev2019 https://t.co/80bPUigX2Q
- I bet most of them count the number of newsletters sent over time, but do not calculate their value creation. https://t.co/kZuKeBNv5R
- @Emily_Holweck @oredev 💙 https://t.co/38hyONPr2D
- @Emily_Holweck @oredev What a beauty! 😍
- @Emily_Holweck @oredev @ameliaflb you dog nerds really have to invite @mirjam_diala next year, she is a dog trainer turned developer and has just explained what TDD and dog training have in common in the most awesome way! https://t.co/SvyYoICt3t
- @lightling @oredev Thanks for guiding us through these three wonderful days, Lisette!
- Yay! Noodles in paper packaging found @dmdrogeriemarkt! #noplasticwaste https://t.co/XKZWTqNgkw
- @martinemmert @mattsches @dmdrogeriemarkt Schmecken gut!
- As predicted, we are back in #Norway 🇳🇴 and it's already snowing heavily! https://t.co/amhgYwpMFL
- We are back home! #Trondheim 🇳🇴 https://t.co/1iIZT1xB0Y
- @toggleModal This way it's easier to spot opening closing pairs. Back in the days you did not have an editor, that would highlight the other, or even color pairs.
- @StefanRdng @dmdrogeriemarkt 1. viele Druckereien verwenden inzwischen keine Mineraloele mehr 2. ist konkret bei dieser Verpackung nicht der Fall.
- Have you tried working with 9 hour time difference, though? https://t.co/uSBL0lQb8I
- @realn2s No, luckily I haven't had to, yet...
- @chr_horsdal The point is that many tools are designed to make asynchronous work easier, and if only viewed as a helper for teams that are distributed, but in the same timezone, provide no benefit. Think mobprogramming: it's a tool without an alternative if you can't work synchronously.
- #Trondheim! Tomorrow the #AWS users meet again to learn about #BigData from Miles Granger of @webstep and myself about end-to-end #testing #CloudNative systems. Sign-up here: https://t.co/8qmfOG5M4b
- @chr_horsdal I love @trello, which replaces a physical kanban board. @MiroHQ is awesome for concept work and C4 model diagrams. @zoom_us is great to record videos when walking through code.
- @franzen_simon It's basically impossible to avoid Microsoft products, and they have the means to change, so making noise will eventually have effect. If you can stop buying or using their services, great, but that's not always possible.
- @grrowl @franzen_simon Yeah, that's possible, but GitHub also serves as a community platform, which enables OSS projects to be easily discovered. It's not just about publishing source code unfortunately.
- That small box thing is an active antenna attached to the @NordicTweets #nrf9160 DK. It speeds up the time to GPS fix tremendously and allows to get a fix even in problematic locations like here, close to a wall. Now I no longer need to go outside to develop the Cat Tracker. 🐈📍 https://t.co/NCW4TtdeWd
- What marketing says, I do, vs. what I really do: 😘 @NordicTweets https://t.co/dEMv6ag1yF

- Ice-skating season is on! #trondheim 🇳🇴 https://t.co/9y5M8Ivbdy
- Thanks @webstep for hosting the #Trondheim #AWS UserGroup! https://t.co/dwUC0TkL6l
- @RezaSaadat1 @NordicTweets Yes, from anywhere in the world. I have colleagues from Iran!
- 😭 The city of New York thinks it's appropriate to count passengers in taxis with floats. #awstrondheim https://t.co/F4sioQiGA1
- Did I say 💩?! 🙊 https://t.co/JomDTq4Cdy
- 😁👇 https://t.co/ihdnXYTLeG
- @shochdoerfer @NordicTweets Yeah, not all IO is exposed to the internet! But I mostly blame network operators who charge $20 for 10 Megabyte (!) of IoT data.
- @ralf Nice one! Is the firmware already available somewhere? @grandcentrix
- @Lagarde @WieVieleFrauen
- /me pointing at things and explaining how to test code that does not run on my machine. #awscloud #iot #awstrondheim https://t.co/yO2u2YHvqz
- A true supergroup: @WilliamShatner has made a Christmas album with @henryrollins and @IggyPop https://t.co/4lGXRNNS4u
- Product idea: inverted hiring platform where people looking for #remote positions have a profile and companies can apply.
- This would raise awareness how many people prefer to work remote, and which jobs can be done remotely. I also see that it's often possible for *some* teams withing a bigger organization, so visibility of this is often not great for applicants.
- I wonder if there is a need for a https://t.co/KD8r0oBION like site, which is curated more like a tech conference, with tracks and a dedicated committee per track, that maintains and keeps a track up to date and relevant. I see that physical conferences are awesome, but $$$.
- Physical conferences cater mostly towards an already privileged group of people, who have the money and time to attend. But there seems to be no aggregation of the content that is shared there on a platform that offers some of the same quality checks and curation.
- Committees ensure quality but also innovation, so that non-mainstream, but interesting or innovative topics get seen.
- @raphaelfyi Thanks for saying that, you should have much more experience in that regard. I guess it needs to be made.
- @miskaknapek The content is already there on classical remote job sites, maybe it could be curated better: https://t.co/5rFwrs76re
- There can be no fair elections as long as Facebook exists in its current form. The Great Hack is a chilling warning that social networks enable election manipulation and the incentives for them are huge. They won't self-regulate. https://t.co/At3Yt7WtJ0
- Kann mich nicht entscheiden, ob diese @dmdrogeriemarkt Mundspülung eher nach vergammelter Melone oder Geruch von saftigem Haushaltsmüll schmeckt. 🤮 https://t.co/daCBasymwg
- Arranged the travel to @codefreeze_fi and I'm excited to see many new faces this year: https://t.co/f80DEaySTl Want to join? There are still cabins left!
- I made a logo for my nephews' kindergarten, using #inkscape: https://t.co/hdjX8WoyRl
- @Agileonthebeach Middle management with no perspective and coaching.
- @Agileonthebeach I needs to involve all layers in a classical organization, but middle level management is in a unique position of holding power and status, while being affected to most by a transformation (self-organization removes many of their classical functions).
- @DistributeAid When creating the tweet, you can enter the description (click the "Add description" icon), this is also available on mobile. https://t.co/oi4R3HWLXQ
- X-COM should be playable fine. https://t.co/ZniywhLaJJ
- @FridayForFuture @peteraltmaier @wahlatlas Jetzt noch Naturschutzgebiete dazu nehmen, und es bleibt nur noch das Meer.
- @mountain_ghosts Sure, I have this on my desk: https://t.co/CBhdgsaWhK Various companies produce similar devices.
- LOVE the built-in test runner! https://t.co/gg8oqM0SAp
- Today I used docker, because I needed to run the Azure CLI against an older Python version. Learning new stuff is FUN! https://t.co/evYpVQ38Ee
- Nice coincidence: https://t.co/Nq6i8sToxQ
- @TonyBologni @robsmallshire I guess it's not feasible to perfectly calibrate the position of thousand mirrors by hand. AI aligns them after installation.
- @robsmallshire @TonyBologni Indeed. Their AI: while !onSpot moveMirror()
- I did exactly that in multiple projects. https://t.co/cUdtnebew9
- @martinjuhasz It's amazing. Driving organizational change through measurable actions: every consultancy can pack up and leave, because now engineers finally can take it on and enjoy the process.
- So, the @useloom Chrome extension blocks StyledComponents from loading: https://t.co/7OdG30IZT1 🤷♂️ https://t.co/JYgy5Bus7W
- Why you should read Accelerate by @nicolefv and @jezhumble: https://t.co/ljJ8fSSwiJ
- @Singsalad CloudWatch metrics is super powerful, so you would let your services publish these metrics and use the CloudWatch Logs dashboard to visualize them. You can use this from any infrastructure, even if you don't run on AWS. https://t.co/4aH5ceUlWR
- @Singsalad Yes! E.g. I would use it to track and visualize business events like signups, and other user actions.
- @Singsalad Basically you can publish your domain events there and then everyone can start building reports.
- @Singsalad Yes, only a few hundred active users. It's serverless, so it's really cheap.
- @useloom Sure! This is definitely one of the more obscurer bugs I have seen so far.
- @RidingWolf @TubbsSnowshoes @rinkkasatiainen Norway got you covered: https://t.co/IQCVvqaNBT But I think they only deliver within Norway. You can use https://t.co/2Da5WHKPiv to search for more shops.
- @RidingWolf @TubbsSnowshoes @rinkkasatiainen We can ship it, but it's around 40 EUR to ship this to EU.
- 🦸♂️+🦹♂️+🦸♀️+🦹♀️=🦄 Ok, let's do this: use my code MARKUS2020 to buy an @EuroTestingConf ticket on https://t.co/5FQPpacj6u for 999 € (50 € off until Nov 30th) and once 4 tickets are sold, I will gift a free #diversity ticket to a member of an underrepresented group! https://t.co/Ou7GGoN2CD https://t.co/E4OZhVnvEL
- Help to welcome someone into this amazing conference, it's a uniquely inclusive community and perfectly suited for beginners because @EuroTestingConf handpicks contributors and creates and incredible learning environment, like no other conference. @ConfBuddy will be there, too!
- @AdharaIT Let's see if that works, now going off to my manager to secure funding for one of those four.
- The #Azure support is friendly, but they have no insights into why my deployment fails. https://t.co/eYPvt5DHpN
- It's time to celebrate the launch of the @NordicTweets #nrf5340, with 🍰! https://t.co/19TFWdWrqm #bluetooth #mesh #thread #zigbee Also note the famous Norwegian Multi-Tool... https://t.co/mny1hqke52
- @LaszloWa @NordicTweets Ostekakehøvelspaden kanskje?
- Ah, I was using a SKU that does not exist on that specific resource: https://t.co/jiljCQP2Gh Kind of weird that I need to decide upfront about provisioning capacities of #serverless services... 🤷♂️
- https://t.co/JRVtvykAlH Right now #Trondheim's landlords seem to love to pick black for everything: 🇳🇴 https://t.co/i3D5KUeTXb
- @rotnroll666 Does not surprise me, the Americans have a thing for these kinds of vehicles. Tesla only freshens up an existing form factor: https://t.co/zGM9qW4BoA
- Imagine what happens if this car is involved in a crash... https://t.co/Vnndy2Ox0S
- I have this small 40 liner of #TypeScript in now three projects, and am looking forward to try putting it on @pikapkg: https://t.co/FBnFnTbCnm
- @jannisborgers I think they are eyeing a military contract with this vehicle.
- Happy to announce that I'll be speaking at the @awscloud #community day in Stockholm in January! I'll share how we test the @NordicTweets cloud-native #iot solutions which we build with #AWS. https://t.co/CtjwrpAqbC https://t.co/FrZjoPk4rK
- Of course I am happy to be your @ConfBuddy in case you want someone to hang out with or otherwise would not go because you don't know anyone there: https://t.co/12ZkBRso7r
- @marekIsOkay Maybe in Minecraft?
- Scary stuff 👇 https://t.co/nvXlSaKjTj
- @marekIsOkay I FUCKING LOVED IT!
- #Trondheim 🇳🇴 15:37 https://t.co/SCMyBxjheh
- Maybe women are smarter? https://t.co/GjI2Tv86Fc
- WRATH: Aeon of Ruin looks amazing, and the full game will be playable on #Linux! https://t.co/tTHq3ULDiM
- I've added a new photo on @unsplash: https://t.co/lXUiMTXxu9 https://t.co/K5diRYLp7Y
- @emsuiko What about this one? https://t.co/zRhsefbwYC Not very technical and focuses on what it means for the user.
- @fox It's smart not to waste energy with fighting old systems, but see their burning ruins pass by while you march ahead. All the best!
- If you care about your health, watch The Game Changers: https://t.co/98y9tZpII0
- "With [#lambda] Destinations, you can route asynchronous function results as an execution record to a destination resource [SES, SQS, EventBridge] without writing additional code." https://t.co/JEy5sHHiI4
- Node.js 12 runtime is now available on #AWS Lambda: https://t.co/ZqzcXTvPJt
- @_andreasgrimm Yes, definitely worth looking into, since OpenAPI sucks for documenting event-based APIs. Check out this video from @oredev about it: https://t.co/X0XHbsZKPc
- Awesome idea! https://t.co/x5lY446ZCs
- Best speaker gift ever! https://t.co/hkbi5XUUOE

- @Virtual_Patrick Thanks for the tip! Also, very good (except for the distorted audio in some interview segments).
- Only 3 more to unlock a free #diversity ticket! I wrote here about this conference, and why it is so amazing: https://t.co/wIciLZoQYf You should not miss the opportunity to experience it! https://t.co/8WQpkUgh1j
- Consultants live for this shit. Earn cash writing software without skin in the game, except for perpetuating the defunct system so they can sell more consultancy hours on how keyboards for hire can be aligned better. https://t.co/GTKKsbMNLP
- @TonyBologni No consultancy that sends in >60 consultants with a straight face to this kind of project is doing their client a service.
- Very happy to be having the privilege to join @EuroTestingConf again next year. My employer @NordicTweets pays the bill and I'm double happy because this money enables an amazing group of new speakers to be seen, which means I get to hear a huge amount of new ideas! #inspiration https://t.co/T1ftg9yr6L
- @FranziskaNaja Eigentlich weiterhin bei dem Unternehmen, Vervielfältigung ist ja an sich kein Akt der Schaffung des Werkes.
