@kohidave @clare_liguori I think CF is already great (in terms of what solves), but a feature I miss most is actually beyond its scope: time to deploy. Ideally it should deploy 100x faster. Wish two would be support for deploying lambdas from Typescript without needing to figure out the packaging part.

So, I hope I encourage @BlancheCarstens to come out of her Twitter hiatus because she is trying to solve a massive problem in South Africa: giving school kids access to computers and the opportunity to learn about and with them. She's looking for ideas!
@BlancheCarstens Many schools don't have computers, mostly because the are getting stolen because they are very valuable. So one idea would be to distribute inexpensive micro:bits from @microbit_edu, but also they require computers or smartphones to program.

@CorinnaBaldauf I use the same technique when facilitating a discussion. If a person wants to speak, I keep track of the order. I don't have a name for it, maybe FIFO queue (first first out). During the discussion I will mention that I've recognized a person's intention to speak.

@_MichaelSholty Yes, sure, you can't compare Italy to Germany or Norway, and I have not yet lived in Italy, but to me it sounded way too low especially given their experience.
@DJ_eXi We have a fixed salary scheme that is transparent for all members in the R&D group, so I can't low-ball them anyway.

@femtoduino @JacobusSystems Sure, but none of that is the case here. The challenge came after a 1,5 hour intro call. The coding challenge has no time limit, and they only spent a few hours on it. I've provided clear feedback within a day what is missing. They would have had the chance to correct it.

@femtoduino @JacobusSystems Yes, this is fully up to the candidates choice. I clearly state that they can suggest an alternative, and for some that can work (if they are allowed to shared a project they feel comfortable discussing).
