In October 2022 I left Twitter. This is my tweet archive for June 2022.
Tweets
- Good morning from a rainy #Trondheim 🇳🇴. On my way to @nordictestdays to talk about firmware end-to-end testing using real hardware and GitHub actions! https://t.co/loKCZpbsAK

- We are getting the #Tallinn 🇪🇪 city tour now. #ntd2022 https://t.co/qCTwQmz8gQ
- https://t.co/HDRW9VlKce
- This is St. Olaf's church, named after the Norwegian King Olaf, who is buried in Nidarosdomen in ... Trondheim! 🇪🇪🇳🇴 https://t.co/Yjl3ozy6wy
- https://t.co/uzseJTLwP2
- LOL (Germans will know.) https://t.co/EruGE6M6jZ
- Now for some food! https://t.co/fATMGfAVwI
- OMG the food here was amazing, and I got proper vegan dishes as well! https://t.co/Mg3Rj7O3bw
- https://t.co/0DJO5MX9Kp
- The toilets here are also pretty unique! https://t.co/1gdEb7WHCd
- This is the bar Steve Balmer went to after Microsoft bought Skype. https://t.co/DzQ3EskZus
- This is supposed to be a national monument of a drink: https://t.co/2yknafJ1u7
- @NoraTSM Ah, I wasn't aware! In German it's like a small pre school child would say it.
- @gazebo_c @olafurw Grenadier. https://t.co/pCnlUvbe8M
- @NMoutschen Yes! Absolutely amazing hosts, great food and drinks! https://t.co/rGu5ExkDOk
- @TonyBologni Not shopped: https://t.co/qoSS0gUQiG
- @guna_lv I'm so excited for the conference!
- @kohidave @clare_liguori I think CF is already great (in terms of what solves), but a feature I miss most is actually beyond its scope: time to deploy. Ideally it should deploy 100x faster. Wish two would be support for deploying lambdas from Typescript without needing to figure out the packaging part.
- Conference organizers, please put this on your CfP! https://t.co/wUCnIeq9M6
- @w3ltraumpirat Can you show me where CDK does that today?
- @praneetaprakash @kohidave @clare_liguori That bundles everything in one file. Which isn't awesome if I have many lambdas that share dependencies and I want to use layers.
- First day of #ntd2022, starting with @elarlang's keynote: https://t.co/RknLtdYJUt https://t.co/Zc20orTqSp
- It's important to analyse a bug for the potential impact, so the severity is understood by all stakeholders. #ntd2022 https://t.co/7brBNYeZXQ
- @w3ltraumpirat My point exactly. CDK, and SAM are a start, but you still have to figure out a compilation pipeline when it goes beyond simple Lambdas that use built-in dependencies. It's debatable whether CF should solve that, but I think it would be a great feature.
- @w3ltraumpirat Yes, I know. One small dev can still have dreams.
- Coffee break ... This is such a cool venue! #ntd2022 https://t.co/Lpwg1Fi1Lz
- @w3ltraumpirat AWS Lambda could provide at least one officially maintained toolchain, maybe even as a service. Because not only do you have to solve compilation and layering, but ideally also artifact re-use. I wrote about my needs here: https://t.co/PTagFLpu0t
- @w3ltraumpirat I am working on a newer version of that using esbuild. It takes a lambda handler file and resolves all the npm dependencies and puts them in a layer, and bundles the dependencies from within the project in the lambda ZIP file (as ES modules): https://t.co/wJKBo4Uzlh
- Now listening to Stefan Schenk who talks about mocking data for component testing in a React application. https://t.co/R5nkUOtQid #ntd2022 https://t.co/nBDtYIRTyv
- @w3ltraumpirat I have to check out the V2 version of that construct. Usually CDK constructs don't support async code execution so having the build step in the place where the construct is created would be preferred for me, but hasn't been possible before.
- In this talk @maros_kutschy compares two popular visual UI testing frameworks, @Applitools and @percy_io. #ntd2022 Great introduction to both tools and their basic usage. https://t.co/9da71D4CCm
- Lawful good. https://t.co/0ziKfDnIJA
- Great to be in a session about communication at #ntd2022. Natalia Romańska speaks about active listening. https://t.co/5Zf09N1xbn https://t.co/43vrLxUDiO
- Great tips, also love the slides! I often forget to paraphrase, and am pretty bad at mirroring. #ntd2022 https://t.co/EtA0rb91En
- That slide is 🔥! https://t.co/7SSOmOtVSg
- Now the first workshop: testing asynchronous applications with Calvin Moore and @BlancheCarstens. #ntd2022 https://t.co/5X9lZ1BYge
- So, I hope I encourage @BlancheCarstens to come out of her Twitter hiatus because she is trying to solve a massive problem in South Africa: giving school kids access to computers and the opportunity to learn about and with them. She's looking for ideas!
- @BlancheCarstens Many schools don't have computers, mostly because the are getting stolen because they are very valuable. So one idea would be to distribute inexpensive micro:bits from @microbit_edu, but also they require computers or smartphones to program.
- @BlancheCarstens @microbit_edu Would be interesting to learn from @teenscancode how they solve this issue. They also work with the micro:bit: https://t.co/9ctdwe2S3L
- And now it's time for the @nordictestdays #ntd2022 manel. https://t.co/b0roJ4Da5w
- Holy shit, this intro! https://t.co/8UExc6dWPy
- Dinner time! #ntd2022 https://t.co/SpqA3Un6Hs
- Party time! #ntd2022 https://t.co/sJ7FYGYves
- @maaretp I especially love that you come to @SoCraTes_Conf!
- Has someone already compared GitHub's Dependabot with @renovatebot for projects with NPM dependencies? https://t.co/ZpZgqLP9gM
- In the next session @maros_kutschy talks about automating UI testing. Good to see BDD features being used here! https://t.co/Siim98dboX #ntd2022 https://t.co/wtmEXe2CKm
- @maaretp @SoCraTes_Conf I'm sure you will love it. And I am also excited for two of my junior colleagues who will join the foundation day and get to learn from you.
- nRF Connect SDK 2.0.0 has been released and my personal highlight is the experimental support for LwM2M with @AVSystemCom as the endpoint. This will significantly reduce power consumption compared to TLS+MQTT, so check it out and help us make it stable. https://t.co/aotcZtSVry
- If you wonder, if I *really* wanted to call it out? Yes, absolutely. Everything we do as part of a conference is political, and even as an attendee (or speaker in my case) we have a choice what to do about this. Always. https://t.co/vmo6wqBMk6
- Had this "juice" and it tasted like shit. And because this shitty system does not allow me to control the amount, a full glass went into the drain. https://t.co/DDIiTOvDBY
- They got me at Firestarter - Prodigy and lost me at Slim Shady - Eminem #NTD2022 https://t.co/7LoJVEy8Ej
- @NicolaLindgren just heard you will be at https://t.co/cTHVzKfs3e. I always wanted a reason to travel back to Vienna and then to Czech republic 🤔
- Cheers @nordictestdays! #NTD2022 https://t.co/Z365wm6jCp
- @veltman @ezagroba Similar, but in HTML they replicated that spelling error: https://t.co/UngMRazGvX
- @CorinnaBaldauf speaker queue?
- @NicolaLindgren I have tickets for @oredev, so there def!
- @NicolaLindgren @ron_werner says Hi!
- This venue keeps on giving: https://t.co/Ouw4TTfa1d
- So there is a CHILDREN'S book about #testing, created in #Finland 🇫🇮 by @kkakkonen and it's a beautiful hardcover that aims to teach children the fun of finding bugs and improving software. We need great testers, too, so definitely check it out! https://t.co/oQVCjoaMdN
- @guna_lv @nordictestdays It's a great crowd. I am always happy when I am around people who invest time in themselves and come together to share and learn. @smokienorful does a great job of facilitating that!
- They are discoing the right way: #NTD2022 https://t.co/hU5w1ve8it
- #NTD2022 after-party: https://t.co/WsfJ2JfaZR
- Good night #NTD2022 https://t.co/QenJ9ihWbO
- Totally worth the €2,50. https://t.co/7Fzpz7wUZ7
- It's completely made of small ice cream bubbles. Amazing! https://t.co/53Bfl3VYfv
- @CorinnaBaldauf I use the same technique when facilitating a discussion. If a person wants to speak, I keep track of the order. I don't have a name for it, maybe FIFO queue (first first out). During the discussion I will mention that I've recognized a person's intention to speak.
- @maaretp While I don't want to diminish the severity of attacking your legacy, I want to ensure that you have built a legacy of your own that stands for itself, without the (lack of) validation of any third party. That said, it is important to address efforts to minimize your works.
- @kolencherry The most important fun fact: it's fun to eat, too!
- Day 2 of #NTD2022. Did a tech check this morning for my talk later. Find me at 1410 in Väike Saal downstairs. https://t.co/C9BZrkawgT
- Took a walk during the coffee break because the sun is out! This concrete monster is next to the #ntd2022 conference venue. https://t.co/WufBLUHeRV
- Now hearing from @tomdrivendev how to set up teams for better quality: https://t.co/58qmj5JF8B #ntd2022 https://t.co/muIQBcNsmP
- Teams should test together, not develop and do QA in separation. This also means a new role for testers: they need to become a quality advocate. https://t.co/ynHTs0AGkf
- Now for something I've never worked with: testing video quality. Super interesting to see all these tools they need in action. @DenissLocmelis #NTD2022 https://t.co/Npt801x8zb
- The tools: https://t.co/fzitLbTUoL
- @foofighter75 Yes, that was highlighted on another slide: helping developers to get into a tester's mindset.
- Excited now to be able to listen to @madisp who shares @Veriff's end-to-end testing strategy. #NTD2022 https://t.co/DttoQSycec
- Ohh, all magic links should have literal magic in them! #NTD2022 https://t.co/qSZkIcAThS
- E2E tests are slow, but try to be below 15 minutes, otherwise too many context switches happen for developers. You should monitor this and make sure everyone is aware of the goal! https://t.co/QrwNeUBVy7
- Quite a few challenges with this approach, but the benefits are there! #NTD2022 https://t.co/edA1EZrdeI
- I hope to catch an overview on how to visualize test results from @Anais_vanAsselt. #NTD2022 https://t.co/rg1Z7XSizO https://t.co/jTffWGh0MR
- These dashboards for visualizing test results can't be too technical, but should take the perspective of the business, so all involved parties can use that information. https://t.co/xQSjnBWsUB
- Thanks #NTD2022 for having me! I had fun, also giving my talk! Thanks to all who made @nordictestdays possible! https://t.co/92CysJueRS
- Already on the plane back! Goodbye #Tallinn 🇪🇪 I'll be back for sure! https://t.co/mPz4VnZIzQ
- There were some banger weather views during the trip: https://t.co/EFw9niAawO
- https://t.co/0vOt0RN77Z
- I forgot to mention that the Estonians just serve you melted cheese on a plate. Motherfucking genius! 🇪🇪 🤯 It's ahjus küpsetatud ürdi-kadaka juust and I still think about it two days later. https://t.co/LnHyapmIPv https://t.co/WZsLCYVFXs
- @internetofshit We @NordicTweets are doing our best! 🤞🏻
- @emna__ayadi @elarlang Yes, it's very unique. Not your typical hotel conference center!
- https://t.co/NMylO4JqpU is a very interesting deviation of JavaScripts model of code once run anywhere. For #IIoT it is acknowledged that not all targets can run the same code, so they are working on providing a way to formalize vendor-specific APIs in JavaScript. https://t.co/KDU7r587MX
- Looking forward to watch the recording of this one! https://t.co/9iJvi2bMk8
- @amokleben This effort is about the language features to allow direct hardware access (which often needs direct memory manpiulation), not about the implementation. However, if you look at examples like @Espruino or @nodebots you will see that they run stripped down interpreters, because >
- @amokleben @Espruino @nodebots runtimes like Google's V8 are 10-100 times too large for embedded devices.
- @amokleben @Espruino @nodebots I'm looking forward to this talk: https://t.co/vTmz0Tdoio I expect that it will explain in detail what the benefits of adding new features to the standard for IoT devices are.
- Yes, I'm a man. I stop reading at #5 and assume I'll ace the rest, too. https://t.co/BHgMlpYDH4
- @madisp at his steampunk office at #ntd2022 https://t.co/j4jpCEgV0o
- @beriberikix @nordictestdays Unfortunately only the track of the big stage was recorded, not all talks. So for now I can only share the slides with you: https://t.co/26ij4ofBwv ... let me know if you have any questions, not everything will be super clear without the audio track. I am planning a blog soon.
- @emsuiko Uh, hope you get well soon!
- Absolutely: I get to put my ideas in front of people to get outside feedback, get a lot of inspiration in a short amount of time through other talks, make new contacts and friends from the industry, discover new cities. https://t.co/pf7U7o8PMO
- Hello Germany! 🇩🇪📵 https://t.co/b8mA6YRnmP
- First time at #BER and oh boy is this an ugly airport.
- @dtanzer Ah, ok. Bin tatsächlich gerade im Telekom Netz.
- @EvAltenberga A complete bland Zweckbau.
- @NativeWired Ah, good to know. We are traveling only with carry-ons.
- @Niklas_L @emsuiko Ziemlich offensichtlich wenn man genug von euch folgt ;-)

- @lucianadrian Yeah, here is a sample from Lofoten from last summer. Ping of 80 is not so great. But still OK for most work tasks. https://t.co/SXz4GWQxTi
- @ktrajchevska @AppCfp mostly.
- @datenreisender https://t.co/uPb7W4t1Ki
- @datenreisender Yeah, IME it's not significantly worse compared to previous years 😁
- Pretty forgetful about its own history, but better late than never. https://t.co/59LBhpxGB1
- @tdpauw @ezagroba I love this book, and recommend it in all my talks.
- Leider gibt es den Latte Macchiato im ICE der @DB_Bahn weiterhin nur mit Kuhmilch. #ice1007 https://t.co/198JFliCCR
- Still fascinated that Berlin is one of the few major German cities that still has undeveloped real estate. Also, beautiful green suburbs. https://t.co/ktCfe4uXg5
- @EvAltenberga @clekis East Berlin: https://t.co/HsA6c2rq7I
- Look what is a thing now in Germany: Amazon Lockers https://t.co/ZaKc71gIDM
- https://t.co/NirPOesXCJ
- @clekis @EvAltenberga Some streets here still have cobblestone. Very last century.
- Genius! 🍻 https://t.co/YeKN4bLEmk
- @badboy_ We need to keep a enough Norwegian residents in the country at all times!
- @clekis @EvAltenberga This one for example: https://t.co/gjPoeag3Kj
- @Stephan_Strange @DB_Bahn https://t.co/53LM2I7IR3
- @guna_lv They set up the first ones in 2016. But it's the first time I have actually seen and used one.
- 🇩🇪: Not crowded 🇳🇴: At capacity https://t.co/KvOGJtlK8j
- "Hauptstadtflughafen" #BER https://t.co/MM5Hso3X7X
- @chaos_monster I haven't seen those in the Rhein Main region... Maybe because we had Packstation as one of the first.
- @Argorak LOL
- @miskaknapek Yeah, I got a few emails out.
- @miskaknapek Yeah, I have 30 GB. That worked ok. But still a far cry from local service in Norway.
- @PreusslerBerlin That's ... not entirely incorrect!
- I have no idea what that is, but it's an impressively tight flight formation: #Trondheim https://t.co/0IUrRa3W5N
- @PanzerDominik You should ping @tomdrivendev!
- Change starts with you, not with them! https://t.co/lNBlqOrgJN
- @alex_schl Get a Franzbrötchen to calm the nerves. :/
- Uh, finally a worthy successor to Hellgate London?! https://t.co/MMrAdTVn65
- Adding a new battery to my 2016 XPS 13, so I can soon donate it to good hands. https://t.co/NFtaaqPL7T
- So, next week I am going to challenge my students to build a RTS lego robot wars game where teams control multiple robots. Because, I haven't seen this done before, and I think it could be a fun thing to build with our hardware! https://t.co/NSRw5cR0Ci
- @NicolaLindgren @testsigmainc We are looking for new contributors @DistributeAid and have prepared a getting started page which links to a few good first issues: https://t.co/7yCbfc9ML7 Happy to assist you with your first PR!

- A curated list of awesome resources about embedded and #IoT security. The list contains software and hardware tools, books, research papers and more. https://t.co/EhQKMG4T28 ... more resources to help you not end up on @internetofshit!
- Look at this beauty! #thingy53 https://t.co/U9ChBhXB1m
- @sionwhughes Yes, Nordic has published the BOM for the Thingy:52 in the past, so I expect the same to happen soon for the Thingy:53.
- @sionwhughes Nordic has no real magic way to source components, so given the Thingy:53 can be produced right now you will also be able to source the components for a similar design.
- We started working on it! :-D https://t.co/rmjBxTIkct
- @martinjuhasz Yes, I was trying to find something that is interactive and fun to watch even for children. We will have school classes visiting us at https://t.co/5KOqEdAJ2F in August and I think we found a project that can be both fun to try but also has interesting technical challenges.
- Okay, that's a bold way to get noted by developers on a job site: https://t.co/hwAJBDepMm

- @_Iyalei Also, they just don't support alpha lists, because WHO would need those?! (me) https://t.co/kqrh7fnc1o
- I am a bit obsessed with this song right now: https://t.co/OvFBEloAOQ
- @_Iyalei I envy you that Tailwind flew past you. IMHO it's a mess, but some people love it.
- @_Iyalei Good choice! https://t.co/vZJdS91L9b
- @NicolaLindgren :-D
- @lisihocke Here are a few positions, note that she also could consider "Ausbildung" or "Werkstudent" roles. https://t.co/bvItl82B9e https://t.co/JbGt5fR3ew https://t.co/qj6QcYe9KO https://t.co/Bexa1eNcoC https://t.co/HIRY1UWxCR
- @lisihocke Also she could join @JSCraftCamp TOMORROW and meet a lot of people and companies from the region.
- @lisihocke Yes, that's the downside, those are typically not paying well. But given her background this could be an angle for a more formalized education track, and salary is always negotiable.
- @ashleymarinep Norway. We order drinks and food at the bar, and pay right away.
- @therandomdent And then you have to explain "cringe" for the recruiter, as well, just to be sure. :-)
- Say you are old without saying you are old. https://t.co/t8fJTH3ltQ

- Just learned the Azure has a new websocket service called Azure Web PubSub: https://t.co/g8bhN3vDg5
- My junior today asked for a recommendation how to document architecture. I don't have a good one, and I am again thinking about writing down how I want architecture to be documented: from the viewpoint of data that flows through it. It needs to be a dynamic, not arrows+boxes. https://t.co/gf1UuLbxPd
- @m4nl5r Yeah, ideally I have per-feature test case sequence diagrams that include the actual data and the components it was handled by, including links to the infra definition in code.
- @_Iyalei Yes, I like that. I want to start with the feature: "We want to store temperature data of devices, and be able to retrieve them later." ... then see the input and output data ... then see which "components" this data touches and how it is transformed in the process.
- "Top Gun: Maverick" is a 131-minute long advertisement for death. https://t.co/NdNV3vpBZU

- @Vektorianisch https://t.co/gOIyD99r7I
- If you are at #ew22 don't miss the opportunity to speak to Chris and his team! https://t.co/AEwPFUHpDE
- @stanislav What C4 is missing for me is the "glue": in AWS architecture a lot is happening on the "arrows" between boxes and C4 does not focus on that; it puts an emphasis on components, however in cloud native archtitecture the containers are boring, the implementation is in the glue.
- Some days I remember the year of 1998, driving with Sascha and Eva in her Golf 2 from Frankfurt to Berlin to be part of this magical event: https://t.co/vLCNZz7E3L
- @Chris_Gammell No.
- All fresh this morning? https://t.co/TCnz8rNFxx
- #Oslo is so different compared to #Trondheim; they use Umbrellas! https://t.co/2wMswM8tXO
- DIRIGERA means conductor in Swedish and it's a great choice for an IoT/smart home central. https://t.co/Tk7Bqc6d80
- A wonderful thread. 💙 https://t.co/QgjSSzOGyn
- @yanatweets Yes, but having known IKEA products before understanding Swedish it always felt nonsensical but in a funny way to me. It gives room for some really interesting interpretations...
- We had a beautiful summer day in #Oslo 🇳🇴. Lots of awesome places to discover and street art to discover. https://t.co/1lG1i5TYvo

- @AdharaIT @RomaniaTesting Awesome, congratulations!
- Good morning from #Oslo 🇳🇴! https://t.co/1zhw1pQ7ch
- @atluxity The weather is awesome, meeting friends, so yeah, it is!
- @atluxity Yes, the houses here are so cute! Prices are 😱, though.
- @miskaknapek Yes, very interesting to just stroll around.
- Perfect summer day (18°C)! #Oslo 🇳🇴 https://t.co/oY5cIoUG1C
- Sauna would be fantastic today... https://t.co/7hWblt79vk
- @badboy_ Just crazy.
- @DahibhatePrachi I'm privileged enough to have the choice. So offline/in person conferences are my preferred choice.
- @mirjam_diala Once you get used to standing you don't need a chair any more.
- Talked to an applicant from Italy who volunteered their current salary. I had to ask 3 times to make sure I didn't mishear the number... it was unbelievable low.
- @_MichaelSholty Yes, sure, you can't compare Italy to Germany or Norway, and I have not yet lived in Italy, but to me it sounded way too low especially given their experience.
- @DJ_eXi We have a fixed salary scheme that is transparent for all members in the R&D group, so I can't low-ball them anyway.

- @jke It feels good actually and it's a bit larger. So good for my hands.
- @Wolfcraft_IO I decided against it. There are some reports of HW issues and without direct support in Norway I didn't want to risk having to send it abroad for repairs.
- @DJ_eXi @ron_werner Yeah, that made it especially hard to get a new one. But I have a box full of new stickers! https://t.co/WWg4yS8hvC
- @DJ_eXi Yeah, it's one surface with click detection in the middle part. Super slick!
- @hola_soy_milk @DistributeAid @gitpod What's the advantage of using CodeSpaces directly from GitHub?
- If you want to contribute to OSS apps that make aid available to those who need it, check out the @DistributeAid project on @github: https://t.co/TpFAi4iF8v #code4good https://t.co/5KszkYRAO8
- I've just provisioned a cellular IoT device through MS Teams. https://t.co/9ImF4sBS8J
- @Jan0707 @DJ_eXi @ron_werner I still have my old laptop ;-)
- @Jan0707 @DJ_eXi @ron_werner Oh, interesting idea to add a Supersticker.
- @the_qa_guy Stop bothering me, I have to talk to the patent lawyers!!!

- Is your company spending $100/year to let you pair with an AI while writing code? https://t.co/8z5d3HhyGz
- First Linux. Then Zephyr. #rust https://t.co/1ysMJV3UdL
- @BaggersIO It won't limit me from using it for company projects, so I expect the company plan to have a bit more features (like blocking code in specific repos to not be analyzed).
- Me: here is the tech challenge. Them: *solves tech challenge quickly*. My feedback: not fully implement, bugs, no tests. Care to fix? Them: The provided solution should be sufficient to make an impression of my skills. Ohhkay. Some dudes have too much confidence. https://t.co/udEcryoPve
- @ddprrt GitHub pages.
- @femtoduino @JacobusSystems Sure, but none of that is the case here. The challenge came after a 1,5 hour intro call. The coding challenge has no time limit, and they only spent a few hours on it. I've provided clear feedback within a day what is missing. They would have had the chance to correct it.
- @femtoduino @JacobusSystems Most candidates that went through this process were very happy with how it went, so I am confident that it's fair. However, I am curious to learn what you personally consider appropriate to do for testing a candidate's technical abilites?
- @femtoduino @JacobusSystems Yes, this is fully up to the candidates choice. I clearly state that they can suggest an alternative, and for some that can work (if they are allowed to shared a project they feel comfortable discussing).
- @femtoduino @JacobusSystems But I understand the predicament. I think I will start asking (senior!) candidates to propose the way they would like to be assessed for their technical abilities.
- @bitshiftmask @femtoduino @JacobusSystems Yeah, I know. However, I have many applicants from abroad, so we can't relocated them here on a hunch that they might perform well. I've added this to our application form now. https://t.co/q6ViSLU4X9
- @nebelgrau77 Yes, I also totally was not aware that he was in that movie!
- @troubalex Sometimes I use the tiny button to set the clock.
- What a beautiful suprise on my #kde desktop this week! 😍 Looks amazing on the #xps13 OLED. https://t.co/QPlVIM82VM

- @pati_gallardo A customer of @BRYTER_io.
- @FranziskaNaja Ahh, cool das Du was gefunden hast!
- @m4nl5r @ifesdjeen https://t.co/TyrEMxOPmr was mentioned already. It has everything you need! However Bergen is wet, and Tromsø is wet and cold, so prepare accordingly!
- @m4nl5r @ifesdjeen @visitnorway has very good recommendations around hiking in Norway, including what to pack and trip recommendations: https://t.co/vnPMjwmpnW
- @EdyBolos @femtoduino @JacobusSystems I expect a candidate to spend around 8 hours on the technical challenges. It's much less time compared to before where we would fly people to Norway to have physical interviews. ICYDN I tell candidates that they can propose a different way to assess their technical skills.
- @EdyBolos @femtoduino @JacobusSystems How much time are you prepared to invest in an interview?
- We have too few words to describe IT systems properly.
- What a banger: https://t.co/y83A9xd005 #trancefamily
- @haraball @EdyBolos @femtoduino @JacobusSystems Yeah, I'd love to do the trial in the probation period. But most candidates are from abroad, so this involves relocation, visa, often also for an entire family. So my stakes are high.

- @PeterHilton @mirjam_diala @MaritvanDijk77 @j19sch Haha, yeah :-D
- @arne_mertz Yeah, I know that some companies work like this; and it's working good for them. But I can't have this for my team.
- @pati_gallardo It offered me the opportunity to work with something I loved (JavaScript and serverless) in an exciting domain I think has huge potential (IoT) in a country that I was dreaming about (Norway).
- Can someone set up a code golf challenge for CodeWhisper and Copilot? https://t.co/ajcpok1KGI
