- @FranziskaNaja Sowas sollte der Arbeitgeber bezahlen ...
- I feel seen. https://t.co/54BknGeXiC
- The other poll for COMPANIES is here: https://t.co/D8lThQjg4H
- Today I added markdown support to the @DistributeAid chat, because no chat must exist without GIFs! https://t.co/TWiWJYEWbU https://t.co/1N6ohIfjkj
- @FranziskaNaja Ja, aber so sind halt die Preise gestaltet, da in der Regel der AG zahlt.
- Translations are hard. https://t.co/T9Syz1XZCl
- @MouserElec @NordicTweets The picture used is not a nRF9160 DK, you have the correct picture here: https://t.co/TOop8ZtO4t https://t.co/sGa5wHvJAb
- @tdpauw @stack72 Use CDK for that, makes it much less painful to author: https://t.co/JbEewlKoWk Example: https://t.co/Ne1j62d3IU
- @tdpauw @stack72 @PulumiCorp Ah, yeah @PulumiCorp looks cool, haven't found the time to try it out, yet, to see how it compares to CDK. It would have been great to try it for my current work on Azure, but it seems to not support AD B2C: https://t.co/IMcd7Jn6ob
- @stack72 @tdpauw @PulumiCorp No, I need to set up an AD B2C: https://t.co/2fWSD1x8zp
- New @azure woes today: function fails after 1.7 minutes with non-descriptive 500 error, no trace id or any header. The request does not show up on the functions App Service monitoring view, so it's no possible to debug. https://t.co/LsjJZBWn4S
- I really like their style, unfortunately they are not easy to scale right now: https://t.co/uD908Q6WP2 https://t.co/YZnRaGxfhi
- @malk_zameth @jlengrand @Felienne Pre-conf meetup (Wednesday) for @EuroTestingConf: https://t.co/dtLqtbMgPJ I would join Thursday or Friday Dinner / Drinks!

- @fquednau Hard to see, but I have spikes... https://t.co/IJYZmsJd09
- @fquednau Kind of the point of living in #Norway 🇳🇴 😜
- @fquednau Yes, from a car.
- Any of my followers from #Norway open to hire and relocate a #junior #JavaScript engineer (https://t.co/8QNUEe2CDU., 2 years experience, teaches others) with great potential from Costa Rica? They love this country and could become a strong backend engineer in your team?
- .@NordicTweets is coming to a city near you, don't miss this opportunity to learn from our experts about the latest in short- and longrange wireless! https://t.co/IzJseaTNa0
- This is great! https://t.co/DoWp38zgp2 makes clothes from production waste in the textile industry. ♻️ If you are a conference organizer looming for sustainable gifts, check them out! A great idea made in #Finland 🇫🇮 https://t.co/moOKS1WuB2
- Afternoon mood. #trondheim 🇳🇴 https://t.co/WEcUvPsSsW
- On my way to Amsterdam to @EuroTestingConf. I hope the weather is nicer down there! #Eurotestconf https://t.co/DmaTJmdmfy
- If you are selling tools to developers how about offering them a way to top-up the monthly fee to support projects like @DistributeAid? https://t.co/GW7BTSbLra
- What a nice flight today! #ams https://t.co/CqewWSvLUt
- @JokinAspiazu Nice to see you again!
- Early in Amsterdam for #eurotestconf, so I'll find a nice café near the center to hang out and get some work done. Join in if you want!
- Hello Amsterdam! #EuroTestConf https://t.co/OsE7mIumkQ
- Found a nice place just a ⛴️ ferry ride across the central station. https://t.co/RPqACoXjLK
- @jrosaproenca @EuroTestingConf Only +5 now, but sunny! This is T-Shirt weather for Norwegians. And probably deadly for Spaniards ;-)
- @emsuiko I just walked past that, thanks for the tip, will have a look ;-)
- @jrosaproenca @EuroTestingConf No, I didn't ;-) Portuguese can handle this weather ;-p
- @danimad2000 @bryanl @deno_land @ceejbot is working on a fix: https://t.co/fz4WtGIrar
- @KlaraMiffili It's an amazing city, I love it!
- @pati_gallardo Looking forward to meet you in person, Patricia!
- @pati_gallardo Already here for @EuroTestingConf!
- Winter means: average temperature below 0. No winter anymore in parts of Scandinavia. https://t.co/uP5vXzNw5X
- @pati_gallardo @EuroTestingConf No, I spoke last year, decided to make room for new faces this year (e.g. I convinced @mirjam_diala to keynote here this year)! I will just attend and enjoy the very last #EuroTestConf ...
- @pati_gallardo @EuroTestingConf @mirjam_diala https://t.co/sa0MkHx6OA
- @pati_gallardo @EuroTestingConf @mirjam_diala It's the third time for me and I will miss it very much. It has set a new benchmark for tech conferences.
- or: How I hated MongoDB and fell in love with DynamoDB. #serverless https://t.co/F6WWhgPl5q
- If you don't train your engineers, someone else will and you end up with a random set of skills which need individual gap filler training, instead of educating through a curriculum where students can help each other and improve the training for the next. #hiring https://t.co/flRQAmMF7G
- The pre-conf meetup location is ... uhm ... massive! #EuroTestConf https://t.co/4cox2reVIF
- .@jlengrand opens the pre-conf meetup @ING in Amsterdam. Amazing food and discussion about testing are already happening! Oh, there are also stickers! Look out for @marianneduijst's sketchnotes! https://t.co/QSUs4fBwZr
- "Throw out the term 'Testing Phase'!" @janetgregory and @lisacrispin want everyone in a team to become a quality advocate, because it requires an entire teams knowledge to build great products, not just a dedicated role. We all can learn to be that! #EuroTestConf https://t.co/IjH8okvphA
- Oh, Janet's Twitter handle is wrong on the slides: @janetgregoryca is correct!
- Learning about Pact over beers. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/BxMlor4H2O
- @mirjam_diala @ConfBuddy https://t.co/rVjP79T2LN
- I think we can summarize tonights #EuroTestConf discussion we had with: Do more of everything, do less of your thing.
- Very excited to share the next days with a group of people who care for quality in software! It's all about #humans, #testing, #innovation, #collaboration and more. #EuroTestConf is on! https://t.co/y2juzWaG6N
- A premiere at #EuroTestConf: @mirjam_diala is giving her first keynote and shares her love for test-driven development (and dogs). https://t.co/OKDeAnfhIH
- #TDD is very rewarding for humans, the cycle of breaking down a big problem into very small steps and getting them implemented leads to correct software ... and happy developers! 🧠🍬🎉 -- @mirjam_diala at #EuroTestConf https://t.co/rfQXYmzyX1
- Don't forget to refactor your tests as well, they are code too! @mirjam_diala's way to explain #TDD is really amazing and extra kudos for the way she effortlessly uses plain language to introduce the important concepts. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/j1OgviaCTP
- What @mirjam_diala thinks #tdd is about: #EuroTestConf https://t.co/YngKCTHMQ3
- Learning about contract testing with pact from @nelisboucke and @matteo_pierro at #EuroTestConf https://t.co/qxdbLQYp7E
- In the #EuroTestConf with @lisacrispin and @janetgregoryca to learn how to create a shared understanding in your team using frameworks like the 7 dimensions of quality. https://t.co/WjTPObRmK3
- Getting some really useful tools explained hands-on in this workshop by @lisacrispin and @janetgregoryca: they to uncover many hidden assumptions that you wouldn't have thought exist! #EuroTestConf https://t.co/28Urhj5piL
- The technique is explained in the book "Discover to Deliver" (and in this post): https://t.co/rmWnlipvyS #EuroTestConf
- At #EuroTestConf @ezagroba and @j19sch share their experiences setting up mob testing @Mendix. https://t.co/hc2jVSgUV0
- @Mirolitka Thank you! 😊 I'm just paying back what I receive here!
- @dinzydinzy check out @tech_voices
- I facilitated a lean coffee circle at #EuroTestConf and we had great discussions about the future role of the tester, how to do API testing, and the ideal size of a mob. https://t.co/3scka3DSDE
- Very cool to receive a kudo about my talk from last year at #EuroTestConf from someone who got inspired to test on production infrastructure and discovered an expired certificate! https://t.co/ROTsf2WOQs
- How DevOps enabled the tester @Maaikees to grow and leave her narrow box of being a tester. A DevOp environment creates opportunities for people to use all their skills. She points to @jessitron's post on #symmathesy for inspiration. https://t.co/1SosTewcvU #EuroTestConf https://t.co/RgBbE5btYq
- @PatrickHeneise Great question, unfortunately not. The point of lean coffee discussions at @EuroTestingConf is to be very specific to the people in the circle (as opposed to the talks and workshops we have here), so it cannot easily be summarized.
- @EuroTestingConf @a_bangser Damn right.
- We get to listen to the amazing @pati_gallardo talk about DevSecOps and how to integrate security concerns into our software lifecycle. She starts of with praising @nicolefv's book Accelerate. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/kACIkA1phM
- #Testing oriented in the #Cynefin framework: #EuroTestConf https://t.co/yKz67dGAga
- @PatrickHeneise @EuroTestingConf Yeah, it's optimized for the people who can afford to pay for the event and come here. It's a privilege.
- How to prepare for handling security incidents: -- @pati_gallardo at #EuroTestConf https://t.co/IS7IoXQeUm
- "Developers are constantly making new things and annoy everybody else. But remember, that's why we get paid." Great sentiment from @pati_gallardo who encourages us to care more for the respectively *other* profession. #EuroTestConf
- Now in the hands-on workshop with @bernardobridge on pact. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/0to1nlFqD5
- Really amazingly packed talk full of concrete advice on security best practices and how to make security an integral part of your development pipeline. I highly recommend to check out @pati_gallardo slides, and if you get the chance go see this talk! #EuroTestConf https://t.co/T1AcKzMrdO
- Shout-out to @chmeadow beautiful session timer which made facilitating the lean coffee at #EuroTestConf easy! https://t.co/FnDZTvko6c https://t.co/VGPAZYS5fA
- "Should we just delete it?" @jrosaproenca talks about the love to keep all tests around ... forever. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/DFglpoMqo4
- The value of tests change over time, because features mature and some regressions never reappear. Revisit your test suite with these ideas in mind to reduce overhead. @jrosaproenca at #EuroTestConf https://t.co/CYuwmtllQN
- Here are the quadrants: #EuroTestConf https://t.co/Fuoe6gcSQt
- Really excited to learn from @CrystalMbanefo about different ways of giving and receiving feedback! #EuroTestConf https://t.co/wfWmFXyZH1
- Whenever we give feedback we trigger these emotional needs: #EuroTestConf https://t.co/OYuHWF9D4i
- The purpose of feedback is to help the recipient to help them reach their goal which should align with the company's goal. Behave like a coach not like a punisher. @CrystalMbanefo #EuroTestConf https://t.co/c1vh9AcUXw
- But what about the other way around: Giving feedback to leaders. If you are a leader this is equally critical, because this kind of feedback can provide critical details which are not visible to a manager. @CrystalMbanefo #EuroTestConf
- It's important to create a safe environment where feedback can be given without fear. Being able to receiving critical feedback with an open mind is key. @CrystalMbanefo #EuroTestConf https://t.co/KdKinHXWiE
- What about feedback for teammates and peers? @CrystalMbanefo dives into non-violent communication as a tool for changing ones mindsets to enable more honest and productive discussions in situations of conflict. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/Qwv0DUs1FU
- Here is concrete example: @CrystalMbanefo #EuroTestConf https://t.co/QMU7g02WM4
- Sometimes this will not work, and the invitation / request will be denied. @CrystalMbanefo deals with these kinds of situations by reflecting and adapting her own needs. It's our responsibility to fulfill our needs, not someone else's. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/djGGkQmXv6
- It's absolutely worth to improve on your feedback skills: @CrystalMbanefo #EuroTestConf https://t.co/v2J92eV9qc
- We are huddling close together to learn from @bernardobridge about @artilleryio in the #EuroTestConf open-space. https://t.co/YAhpKKlbRO
- We came to the end of an amazing journey: @Ulrikama is giving the final keynote of #EuroTestConf https://t.co/Mp5ruz8gdk
- With the great power we have as developers comes the responsibility to have honest conversations about our work. @Ulrikama at #EuroTestConf https://t.co/gV2taRhcTt
- "It's easier to get a new job than it is to get back your self-respect." @Ulrikama is citing the amazing @NativeWired! #EuroTestConf https://t.co/EStZV9NQO8
- I heard there will be a #testing track @ddd_eu in 2021.
- #EuroTestConf speakers dinner, is merging with speakers from #dddeu. Amazing to have these two communities in one place. https://t.co/jISs5TlOD6
- #EuroTestConf and #dddeu after-party: https://t.co/24Uks1YvKR
- Learn how to become a speaker from Jokin 👇 https://t.co/Dq7Mv44KbZ
- Please follow @MaritvanDijk77, she is the big-hearted, so-honest-that-it-stings, down to earth friend we need in our manic industry. #EuroTestConf https://t.co/0I2ZtBZHs3
- @fquednau @MaritvanDijk77 No.
- @Ulrikama Thank you for creating this memory. It's one of these rare talks that plant a small seed and grow to a powerful thing. You have an intimate way of telling your story that I could have listened to for hours.
- @MaritvanDijk77 🤦♂️ Twitter failed to attach the gif properly in the original tweet. Here it is: https://t.co/rcQ433R1ve
- Goodbye #EuroTestConf. 😢 We'll meet again, somewhere, I know that! https://t.co/LuIa4nwSRX
- European Testing Conference 2020 in review: https://t.co/8CxGPqkxFj The pioneering tech event is no more. #EuroTestConf
- I thank my employer @NordicTweets for enabling me to attend this event on company time and cost under our competence improvement program. We are hiring! https://t.co/PQzXx9qu5D
- Back home! #Trondheim 🇳🇴 https://t.co/oVo9wAcipZ
- direnv > dotenv
- @PatrickHeneise @refnode Yes, but I actually like it that way because it can be used to configure more in the environment than just variables: https://t.co/cJH339AW4R
- @PatrickHeneise @refnode You can use the 'dotenv' command in a .direnv if you need that behaviour.
- Companies, hack your hiring by looking at what's in here! 👇 https://t.co/ekPC6hzZwJ
- @elonmusk @SpaceXStarlink @9NewsAUS ...or for areas with dense population like refugee camps in southern Europe which often are on outskirts w/o landline and cell coverage, but 1000s of ppl in need of comms for family, medical and legal. Situation makes it hard for orgs like @DistributeAid to concert help efforts.
- @chrisgrothaus Try it!
- I got the chance to meet Julia at #EuroTestConf and was amazed by her desired to learn, and her willingness to embrace change. If you want to improve the quality of your software, reach out to her. She is looking for a #remote position in EU timezone: https://t.co/wfJFMZovXU https://t.co/E4oM5rpObz
- @Lazer Oh, I hope it turns out ok for K2. I would be worried too with what I saw on the video.
- What to do if your conference lineup lacks diversity: https://t.co/WBbBA16vU0
- Today in #JavaScript: I made a cool map icon so I can show a bunch of #Thingy91's on a map: https://t.co/TRQd4rWYQq
- https://t.co/5EMzTk0JOD https://t.co/8Ptjav5GR2
- @robsmallshire I guess they didn't, the intro is pretty clear that they talked to active remote workers (also from companies who have ample experience with remote workers). I think it's not put forward as a study, but to underline the benefits many see in remote work. /cc @andreasklinger
- @Fotograf81 @robsmallshire Must be a hell of a job @BusyLamp to do that. If you think it's not possible in the #legaltech space, maybe check out how @BryterDev manages to build software with a remote team.
- @DevDaysEurope ^^
- Sama is a legend! 🎛️ https://t.co/2yeXngo0uy
- @kotzendekrabbe I travel a lot, so my Bose noise cancelling are definitely worth their price.
- @borderless_dev Oh man, we'll keep it short!
- @kotzendekrabbe Yes, @kamilleblumm Hase similar issues and uses the ones with active noise cancelling, which are also very nice.
- Pretty neat, it takes 14 lines of code to get @letsencrypt working on a Node.js instance with auto cert registration and renewal using greenlock-express! https://t.co/AxBoNOoQS1 https://t.co/9QDlTYNxwH
- @Maggysche @AccentureACTIVE 👋 @kotzendekrabbe
- Can someone @fb_engineering maybe help this smol charity out? 👇 https://t.co/VUco83Grro
- Agreed, the magical feeling of making a circle and looking around the group of former strangers who changed from being "them" to "we" won't happen so quickly. Things need to be spaced out to crystallize when doing it remotely. https://t.co/DphLrlWWD7
- I wrote more @elixirlang today for @DistributeAid and I kinda liked it! https://t.co/Y0o8u9AaIn
- @fquednau distributed over time
- @fabrik42 @elixirlang @DistributeAid Hm, no ;-) https://t.co/XKGuqro59U
- Mobile World Congress in Barcelona cancelled because of #coronavirus: https://t.co/H1He1UMhD1 I'm glad that my traveling colleagues are not exposed to these avoidable risks any more.
- Snakker du norsk? 🇳🇴 @ssbnytt is hiring a #junior developer for their product team in #Oslo: https://t.co/malJH4GbPR via @kode24no: https://t.co/9sS1adzftW
- The design files for our custom cat tracker board based on the @NordicTweets #nrf9160 are up: https://t.co/P0Hcn3OHdR ... in case it's your jam to put components on PCBs which are much smaller than a grain of rice. https://t.co/ZR7w5Ox6Uq
- @ThisIsMissEm 2 letter language codes are derived from the ISO 639 standard; country codes are from ISO 3166
- @mishkathebear @NordicTweets Note that that you can break of the debug connector to make it even smaller. Components could be on the other side, but that would increase the height, esp. since the battery would be there. So it's always a compromise on complexity of layout and size.
- @wolframkriesing I only commit using git add -p.
- Spannende Geschichte! Wie bei @zuehlke_group selbst-organisierte Teams funktionieren könnt ihr am 27.02. in Hamburg erfahren! #futureofwork https://t.co/DZmcRLoKMb
- At @awsnordics I introduced @ConfBuddy and what we trying to achieve through the project: increase #diversity at tech conferences. ✨ Please check it out and add your conference (it's also awesome if you add it if you want to be a #ConfBuddy there)! https://t.co/uPdYbHbJQf https://t.co/nXPuv1bBUf
- Using #docker as a fancy sandbox for building Zephyr-based coded looks like a good use of it. This reduce the steps to build our SDK locally to a one-liner and dependencies won't pollute to system (just use tons of disk space), #WIP: https://t.co/iMZcgQrmCM
- Yes please, easy my pains! https://t.co/FF5zWPUqcT
- It me. (wearing headphones) 🤷♂️🔨⌨️ https://t.co/nBcNAGvsXc
- @pati_gallardo Remember: no free child care / education / healthcare, more expensive cost of living in Silicon Valley. I have well paid colleagues in the US with kids and then that amount is not great to what Norway offers.
- @pati_gallardo https://t.co/M4bajGIqve
- Good Morning! #norway 🇳🇴 https://t.co/kTzJoMlCTh
- Good post by @johncutlefish ... also read the linked follow up post. Many teams who end as uninspiring feature factories start with good intentions! https://t.co/V8SLu2xrlg
- Re: salaryY It's sad that very few companies see it as an opportunity like @buffer for to be transparent about their pay: https://t.co/xw4YDb6v50 After all it's a component of the overall package, keeping it secret leads to mistrust and unfair advantage for privileged candidates.
- Your employer cannot forbid you to talk about your salary. Such contract clauses are illegal.
- It reduces a lot of friction during reviews if you as a company have a clear salary ladder. Employees can even review their own progress regarding their next step.
- The big staffing companies compile yearly salary overviews, which is a great source for understanding current market rates.
- @toggleModal Welcome to Germany!
- @toggleModal No, it's an essential part of every Germans identity. Like faxing something to the Finanzamt. Or checking the recycling calendar for when they pick of the yellow bags.
- @toggleModal https://t.co/RbshFKlGzb
- I figured out how to build our nRF Connect SDK sample applications with @docker so their dependencies do not pollute my local system and blogged about it in the @NordicTweets {DevZone: https://t.co/axclRD4Y6H https://t.co/TTduBRfuMr

- @mirjam_diala Shit, no. 💔 Feeling helpless is the worst. I hope he gets better soon.
- @Mandy_Kerr When presented with obscure demands like this, I will ask for them how we can measure after a given time whether this change improved the situation. You can then measure the status quo, deploy the change, and see if it has a noticable impact.
- It's going to be an amazing online conference, and @NordicTweets should be doing this every year! Looking forward to a lot of Q&A after each webinar on https://t.co/gln6XrvCvU https://t.co/65OSS6pe5y
- Heisann 🇳🇴, the nice people of @ngVikingsConf are coming to #Oslo in May and are looking for speakers! Check out their call for presentations, they are looking for everything frontend-related, and the second day is framework agnostic! https://t.co/tV8sUhJga9

- Testers! Please meet @MinteWod which just joined this website to connect with testers like him who care about automation and exploratory testing! He lives in a remote part of Sweden with limited physical access to a community, which is a pity because I think he has much to share!

- So, I thought putting headlines in HTML is nice, for SEO *and* accessibility. Thanks @EskoLuontola for shedding some light on my bad assumptions: https://t.co/DH55qLrKD7
- @Lazer Spring?
- @Lazer At least here in Trondheim it's now already light when I go out, that makes a big difference.
- @c089 Shit, that sucks. It's good to read that your spirit isn't broken!
- @vicbergquist In case they have an https://t.co/573mF6x2Yz. ... we are hiring engineers for the @NordicTweets office in Oslo: https://t.co/axjcF2SpwS
- @lala_tjo Yes, absolutely. It shows that you paid attention and are committed. And they have shared their email, so this was definitely an open invite to contact them. @1ts_me_cc
- This is a great compilation of free programming courses in #Berlin by @lala_tjo: https://t.co/DWe7uaoM3l Nice to see that @CodeDoor is highly recommended in there as well!
- @lala_tjo @1ts_me_cc Yes, it would be good to start with a sentence explaining where you heard about this opportunity, and then go on further why you think this is a great opportunity for you but also what you think you can contribute to their business.
- @vicbergquist @NordicTweets Well, we call them Graduates, and will not have the Junior in their title, but the jobs are very suitable for those with limited job experience.
- @borderless_dev This world is a mess.
- There is no single reason in there why a #blockchain is the best solution for integrating known and trusted parties, who individually have the power to authenticate transactions: https://t.co/tA7SiKp3JF
- Reading this I wonder if #blockchain was used here to sell consultancy work, but not for the benefit of the project. Also they can't put ticket holder data on the blockchain, so I'm highly sceptical to some of the claims for speed and cost savings made in the document.
- In case you need to visualize the signal strength of @NordicTweets #cellulariot chip #nrf9160 you might like this configurable #react component, which has logic to represent DBM and RSRP values: https://t.co/7vVa7tJlIB https://t.co/dQOSN07gXM
- @vicbergquist https://t.co/MqTez1fx2F
- @vicbergquist https://t.co/BbFnaCovMF ... I know people who work @SchibstedGroup, pretty good employer, too!
- 🤔 https://t.co/a0wWpw7YrR
- @dc7590 Transparency of what and to which extend? Transparency for EVERYONE, or just between trusted parties? Both can be achieved with traditional approaches (API, OpenData), it's not an exclusive feature of Blockchain.
- https://t.co/qlkDQ3JiAR https://t.co/q8Txml94ZX
- @KlaraMiffili Banksy is still on: https://t.co/vjKgFLIouj Coffee: https://t.co/ttgjp6yHgb and https://t.co/L7grA6ixlG were really nice. Amazing Pizza: https://t.co/H6trIpREgk Awesome Craft Beer: https://t.co/ppGogB6ykB
- @1ts_me_cc Yes, basically all tech companies located in Scandinavia have English as a working language, and the local language is not a requirement. But it's very much appreciated if you learn some Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, ... but for Germans that is rather easy.
- @1ts_me_cc You will find many job ads written in English, which is a clear sign, but you will also often be able to apply without speaking it for tech roles. Just ask, it's a very informal culture here.
- @1ts_me_cc However, for non-tech roles the story is very different, good spoken Norwegian is required, and that's hard because of strong accents. It typically takes 3 years to be fluent enough for these jobs. But I guess this is not relevant for you.
- @1ts_me_cc I'm happy to jump in a video call and tell a little bit more about how work here in Trondheim @NordicTweets is for a German.
- @1ts_me_cc Yes, definitely. That's the difference, when your language works in a densly populated region (DACH, ~100 million ppl)...
- @1ts_me_cc @NordicTweets Cool, PN me with some times that work for you.
- @Lazer https://t.co/ouEdafeRf7
- It's been a while since I have been this impressed with a German TV show. DARK has amazing locations, great set design and an overall slow, mesmerizing pace that's simply gripping. - @stefanjudis I want to implement offline notifications via email for messages in @twilio Chat. I haven't found that to be available out of the box, am I right?
- @jrosaproenca Just curious: Do you watch in in German with subs, or dubbed?
- @jrosaproenca Ha, then you've learned some amazing German words: Atomkraftwerk Zeitmaschine
- @stefanjudis @twilio 👌 Whatever fits your schedule!
- @jrosaproenca Well, it's shot in Brandenburg (close to Berlin: https://t.co/Fyyc5iBx4V
- @borderless_dev @DistributeAid @twilio It's a test runner I wrote in TypeScript (https://t.co/OdQKZNcp97), which can run the feature files which are written in Gherkin (https://t.co/FSBHlaaZhn).
- @TwilioHelp Yes, that's what I figured. Have users provide their email addresses, and I will set up a webhook receiver which checks their consumption horizon (and previous notification state) to decide whether to send them a notification.
- @borderless_dev @DistributeAid It's now part of the @DistributeAid tech stack! https://t.co/j6NNHIUATL
- @stefanjudis @TwilioHelp Yes, I know what to do. I'll try to make it reusable so other don't need to do it again (if they are on AWS).
- @RealIvanSanchez Haha, cool that you spotted it. We are actually working on providing better examples which do not use bloated JSON (which was chosen for human readability), but does not make much sense on constrained devices.
- @RealIvanSanchez It's in a longer article over here where I point this out: https://t.co/xkDUSesqmi But that's not really relevant for {DevZone article.
- @ThomasKealy @SamirTalwar Hast du den Tweet auch gebäckuppt?
- @alexmuench Elephant Carpaccio is what we call it in the software world: https://t.co/P58AN8lXqW
- @RealIvanSanchez @NordicTweets I agree that the device should send the raw GPS data (which we do in newer examples like in the cat tracker firmware), and leave unnecessary computation to the cloud. I am pushing for this internally every day, but it's not easy to convince everyone why this is a bad idea.
- @RealIvanSanchez @NordicTweets AFAIR the decision to send NMEA dates two years back when we were sending SIMULATED data from the device, not using the GPS, so there was no raw GPS data to begin with. In presence of higher priorities and simplicity in the SDK it was kept as is when using the real GPS sensor.
- @RealIvanSanchez @NordicTweets @internetofshit I appreciate that you took to time and energy to point this out. It encourages me to keep pushing for ultra low power solutions on all layers.
- Only in the US of A. https://t.co/0QXl74EcOI
- @RealIvanSanchez @NordicTweets Ah, I think we have some misunderstandings on what we mean with *raw data*. I mean lat, lng, and maybe accuracy in binary form, which is sufficient for most applications. I don't mean the literal raw data that you get from the sensor.
- @RealIvanSanchez @NordicTweets @internetofshit It's what I truly believe.
- The Norwegian Computer Society (@DND_Norge) wants to find Norway's best #Java programmers: https://t.co/fk7rWAzV4z Winners will receive honor and everlasting glory in addition to the visible proof of their efforts in the form of a plaque with the winner’s name engraved.
- @lauralindal thanks for pushing those RTs about #Hanau (which is 8km from where my sister lives) into my timeline. I have no words, just sorrow.

- @HaganeNoEnjinia @embedded_world @NordicTweets It's built on AWS IoT, which is serverless, but that's not new, this time we are showcasing UDP connectivity via NB-IoT and Bosch's environment sensor BM680.
- @aIoTDeveloper @embedded_world @NordicTweets I haven't checked with the other teams if we'll have a demo, but it's worth coming by to get the latest update on our support for Bluetooth 5.1 Direction Finding. You can book a timeslot if you have concrete questions: https://t.co/1Xc4fVshFB
- @aIoTDeveloper @embedded_world @NordicTweets Sorry, I won't be at #ew20, but my cool coworkers will be happy to show you all the cool things we prepared!

- TIL while working on resolving / mapping cellular network cells: #china assigns dynamic, ephemeral ids to mobile network cells. So not much luck with doing geolocation based on the network there.
- @dc7590 Well, it limits the ability for third-parties to track your device's location, but the main reason is IMHO that China want's to be able to make money of their data.

- @iotex_io Great, looking forward to the try out the tracker HW. Really like that you put an active antenna on it.
- @borderless_dev Nah, you can't compare Trondheim and Oslo. ;-) @stephaniecodes. you follow @pati_gallardo who lives in Oslo, I think she would love to talk to you! (she e.g. runs @TechWomenNorway). You also follow @idaaa, @troubalex who are both based in Oslo.
- I always say, people don't want to own cars, they want what they offer: individual transportation, mostly in and around cities where they live. This is where the Ami is perfect: https://t.co/sNw1da21gy
- @fab3mat @c089 I love turning it into a big bowl of coleslaw. Goes very nicely with fries.
- @kriscorbus I forgot about the Germans :-) No, you are right. This is not an absolutism, but I'd say for many the underlying need they solve even with a status symbol is individual freedom to drive when and where they want.

- It's green again. Cool story: I need west to run west init then in order to build a zephyr project, installing the requirements.txt will downgrade west, so I need to update it again. https://t.co/yxXZKiD3dU

- It's disgusting to see how the president of USA is lying about the gravity of #coronavirus and downplaying it this way. His actions these days will get thousands more killed, for pure vanity reasons. He makes the USA a threat to us all. https://t.co/OiEvSgODic
- #coronavirus will show what the US stands for these days: protecting the rich. They will get infected too, but fatality will be much lower compared to other income brackets. https://t.co/Roffz5tvpa
- My equivalent is running compiled #TypeScript but forgetting that I added source code in a new additional folder, so everything compiled now suddenly is in subfolders. The old compiled source still exists, but is no longer updated... https://t.co/ONYEEpQyW5
