• Your employer cannot forbid you to talk about your salary. Such contract clauses are illegal.
• It reduces a lot of friction during reviews if you as a company have a clear salary ladder. Employees can even review their own progress regarding their next step.

• @1ts_me_cc Yes, basically all tech companies located in Scandinavia have English as a working language, and the local language is not a requirement. But it's very much appreciated if you learn some Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, ... but for Germans that is rather easy.
