Tweets
- @alex_schl This is so important, to see the whole human. We are not replaceable, but unique. Every attempt to quantify us is futile. To a more human 2022! π
- Still feeling #WTF to be able to see @henryrollins in #Trondheim! https://t.co/LNWTkUsEMf https://t.co/jI3U9DBoy9
- Flying into #Trondheim today gave us a beautiful view. https://t.co/z9ipsqceA9
- It's really a significant difference in taste, so I'm happy with the upgrade. https://t.co/xAm7j3qSNL
- FUCK CRYPTO. https://t.co/cTbPKx5t1Z
- Charts like this are gaslighting you into believing that Blockchain could actually replace the financial system in the first place, or hold as much value as all gold in the world. Which it can't. https://t.co/hGSwNJ8elJ
- @type__error Yeah, stay away from W3Schools. MDN is a great learning resource: https://t.co/ZVgArOHZSo and for a more course like experience Udacity is good: https://t.co/EKtDZx27u8
- @networkgrinch @type__error A lot of the content there is wrong, and/or outdated. Combined that with primary intention to sell makes it a no-go.
- I wrote a SVG snowflake generator: https://t.co/5fY5YMxbLg βοΈ https://t.co/TKu33qQmgX
- @jhooks @networkgrinch @type__error They are still selling bogus certificates on their site. And that statement you linked to, that should be on their website.
- This is my favorite so far: https://t.co/T3YCoo1xm9 You can now share your favorite ones, using the URL. https://t.co/5j4wRcK7XE
- @5422m4n Yeah, it was written to get arbitrary strings stuffed into it, so that's why it probably just drops excess bytes.
- @FinnairHelps tried to call and use the chat but no chance today to reach the customer service for assistance with rebooking a flight. Is customer service overwhelmed at the moment? @Finnair https://t.co/jHGBIjZpkG
- @golioth_iot U OK? Getting no response from the API.
- π https://t.co/kfy5ZgnGTY
- Added a hexagon in the middle, and uses now separate shapes for the branches. SVG for each can be downloaded from the browser. https://t.co/SGdq2Q794E
- @olafurw Yes, I really like the magic they are doing here!
- Gonna turn this into #NFTs and I am going to be rich! ππ₯ https://t.co/mGjqQppEW1
- @BLJENGINEERING You can have it! π
- Good Morning from #Trondheim! https://t.co/pDMBiIzMvF
- Grab some πΏ and enjoy this beautiful video explaining what we do @NordicTweets: https://t.co/LwwgIBRlHF #iot #cellulariot #wireless
- @Finnair @FinnairHelps Thanks for the update. Chat is not available today as well and the line is busy, I can't even get through to change my flight in accordance with ticket rules (which is not possible on the website). Created a feedback case to record my inability to change in time.
- @olafurw When we came back we could exit the queue, because of a short transfer and self-test later.
- VS @code LiveShare is nice, but is there a "follow me" function, so I can "call" the other person to my open file? Also, for working with @typescript, shared hover popups would be awesome.
- @tu404 @code @typescript Not exactly. While exploring code together, I'd find a "look here" feature more helpful.
- @Finnair @FinnairHelps https://t.co/9M7bTmPdwK
- Beautiful winter weather in #Trondheim today. https://t.co/5nqe0ufRZd
- Gonna do editorial shoots now for @PolestarCars? π #Trondheim https://t.co/zMrdAnihKJ
- @RidingWolf @PolestarCars Not mine! Just a neighbor's.
- @golioth_iot Looks good again...
- .@FrameworkPuter is now available for pre-order pre-order in UK, Germany, and France: https://t.co/ioQLf5ZrFd I'm tempted, but waiting a bit for after the first EU batch, and hopefully by then will be able to ship to Norway.
- @_td00_ Sieht online ziemlich mager aus. @digikey hat das scroll:bit fΓΌr *hust* 40 EUR: https://t.co/m7tgyNZ2Dz
- @pati_gallardo 0-5 Junior 5-10 Medior 10-15 Senior 15-20 Staff 20+ Principal
- Also a good reminder for people teaching: it's never as obvious as you think! https://t.co/Mox4xgGRgZ
- @pati_gallardo Yeah, because it's like the phase where you can run your own projects, but don't have enough experience to teach others. Or you are really great at one technology, but not yet well rounded enough to make project-wide decisions.
- @troubalex @BRYTER_io https://t.co/guDFxe9te9
- @m4nl5r After using it for a while, I noticed that the Wilfa's finest grind setting is not fine enough. The Baratze Encore goes much finer, which is needed for espresso baskets.
- @martinjuhasz Great recommendation!
- @oraesque Yeah, there was a terribly bad code pun.
- There is need to use composite IDs for database records any more. UUIDv4 is your friend! https://t.co/GrSvAm35Kd
- Trondheim would have been nice... https://t.co/mQpLOJpVYb
- This is interesting: @1NCE_IoT is partnering with @awscloud. https://t.co/vXxqTygPw2 One can maybe hope for more lightweight protocols for #cellularIoT devices in the future?
- #FrogsConf is back, participation is free, and #remote! It's an amazing conference for people who care about people writing software, and that this software is a joy to use and produce. https://t.co/UrFduGQzeq
- @asciidisco @vannsl I don't remember ... :-) My go-to library for that is https://t.co/j8Dhidv37r ... I also have custom needs, which I then turn into my own libraries: https://t.co/Nkh5vfJz0L
- @vannsl They published version 6.6.6 to NPM, which does not contain any working code. https://t.co/atgwIYXZGj
- Just has been cancelled :/ https://t.co/KK38qu9ajS
- @lucianadrian Just had a similar discussion today ... QA is seen as an add-on role and systems are designed without that in mind, because it can be added later.
- @marekIsOkay It's due to local COVID restrictions...
- @tdpauw @wouterla Caveat: you are no longer testing that you can spin up from a blank account / environment. But: re-using envs pays off if you have components that require instances, for serverless it's mostly free. But, it's faster, yes!
- @tdpauw @wouterla Caveat two: you now can have conflicting updates. I have this problem with Azure, where I reuse the environment, and sometimes tests will fail because another update is running.
- Bitcoin https://t.co/NSSZL3GW8b. is ruining countries. https://t.co/VTWxT2Axsi
- @vicbergquist Oh no! Hoping Bamse will recover soon.
- @Jen_BMJ wishing for the best ... https://t.co/H9qDACTuH7
- @olafurw What is the first thing you have to buy when you are back in Iceland?
- @olafurw Interesting! For us it's food things as well, because they either they don't exist (Apfelwein), or we have a unique variant of it (Paderborner Brot)...
- https://t.co/2nyUJtCLHo will be the next standard for #smarthome, and includes huge players who already dominate that market, like Amazon. Good for @NordicTweets, we will be providing the wireless connectivity for many future products that are #buildwithmatter. https://t.co/1u7ZCuWTf3
- Added @playwrightweb to the @DistributeAid shipment tracker: https://t.co/8X2nu8rkOg We have very little unit test coverage and this allows us to ensure that the web application works, when e.g. dependencies change.
- I also like this style of testing because it is driven from user interaction, from their perspective, and the tests are in an order that make sense to the broadest possible audience. Also, the tool itself is great, especially the inspector is super helpful to write tests quickly.
- Oh, finally! Now we can use esbuild to speed up lambda packing! https://t.co/xcVq9OfSP5
- @autiomaa Yes, I just switched to esbuild on a frontend project and it's two magnitudes faster. This won't matter much for deploying lambdas, but I was holding back on the ESModules migration for my projects, which is now possible. Some dependencies start becoming ESM only...
- @Niklas_L AWS did notice your tweet: https://t.co/1tsarZDcdi
- @NMoutschen Would love to see this in IoT as well, https://t.co/LnyX3F4ePC
- @martinjuhasz @seldo One could argue that there was a pre-existing condition, and that Bitcoin only contributed to this problem, fastened it's reveal. But that would still would support Laurie's analysis: Bitcoin caused these events.
- @NitorCreations @EskoLuontola Link is missing ...
- @maaretp @NitorCreations @EskoLuontola Thanks!
- @autiomaa @EskoLuontola Yeah, I have started to use Vite for a project at work, and it is really amazing: https://t.co/c6x8nIDZJR
- @autiomaa @EskoLuontola I don't even have people at my workplace to discuss these kinds of topics. Twitter is my CoP.
- @ai_maiga @FerrousSystems @therealjpster All the best for your journey!
- If you have the luxury problem of needing to dispose of unused clothing by the ton, please ring up @DistributeAid first. They can get them to people who need them. https://t.co/r3uU3Ufyqx
- Worked on this today and realized, that I most likely don't need a bundler any more at all. tsc FTW! https://t.co/Ab7eugGp1D
- This is a pretty shitty move by @signalapp: https://t.co/69CQCNkXVB - add untraceable money transfer option - get criminals using the app - get feds intersted in planting backdoors / shipping updates via trusted channel
- @gr2m Sorry to hear that. All the best, hopefully it's mild an it doesn't affect your family too much. π€π»
- I'm all here to support the pet tech market! π©οΈπ Check out our free and open-source #asset_tracker_v2 to get started with your product using @NordicTweets #nRF9160. https://t.co/4DoQZvJhhK https://t.co/eFd1OpsOFY
- s/Dragons/Companies/ https://t.co/c0nO4IiNmE
- My friend @sebastian_nell and his team from @essquare_de are hiring in #Wiesbaden (#remote possible)! Take the time and read what they have to offer: working with a skilled team on interesting projects. Kudos for including a pay range in the ad! https://t.co/KSIl4uNwFv
- "All this means that if your NFT is removed from OpenSea, it also disappears from your wallet." https://t.co/nAEjwcwiMr
- @admln_nft π€‘
- @rachelnabors If I have to, I use https://t.co/fqbngPJgHY
- Nice write-up about embedded software testing with GitHub Actions by @vrmvrm https://t.co/Jzbi6AKLeZ
- I've also found then very straightforward to get up and running for testing firmware on the @NordicTweets #nrf9160. I use Ykush Yepkit https://t.co/BgS0bOcRrU for power-cycling the devices between runs.
- I am relying on UART output for controlling the test run and asserting some of the expected behaviour, which is not reliable, UART output sometimes just stops. So what I have on my to do list is to only assert cloud side state.
- @Lynoure @keyboardio @CharaChorder Yes, I am so much faster since I switched to a blank @XBowstech. However transition is painful and took me months, but was worth it.
- Love the winter mood! #Trondheim https://t.co/Fu7ff9IWTO
- @lucianadrian Looks a bit different outside my door! https://t.co/SEFqWozjGO
- @_dcd @NordicTweets You mean, only cut the data, but keep the power on? No, but you might be able to achieve that via the operating system; remove / disable the USB device.
- @BenjaminHilborn Yes! π Let me know when you do!
- @WaldemarKindler βββββ Would recommend!
- We are seeing amazingly strong aurora tonight over Trondheim. https://t.co/HqizZTuxLQ
- More π https://t.co/MgeVPeJh6Y
- It's so strong I got it on video: https://t.co/6NHuXwWVO4
- The Universe is making up for the cancelled @codefreeze_fi ... which would have started this weekend. https://t.co/aF79usUSPj
- What a fantastic day to be out in #Bymarka for a snowshoe hike. Around half a meter of snow and no clouds in the sky. π #Trondheim https://t.co/x0OmFfr8hF
- https://t.co/o3UjRHjaOS
- @meikeco We have to get Skis first, but, we are on it!
- @powtac I'm with NPM. It's their platform, so they are free to make this decision. The update pushed there was harming many and served no purpose. This does not affect the ability of anyone to release broken code, only some platforms won't host it.
- @powtac I agree, suspending the GitHub account is not OK.
- @powtac Note that NPM belongs to GitHub which belongs to Microsoft. So it's all the same.
- I wonder if it's weird to hire for someone to do exactly the same that you are doing. Shouldn't we all strive to have a bus factor of >=2? But what does it tell an applicant, that they are hired as a +1. Feels counterintuitive to disclose this in a hiring call.
- @gsaslis Yes, that's the motivation behind it. Good point to frame it that way, and to include that in the call.
- @tdpauw Not sure about the bar, but we had great food at Tasca La Lonja https://t.co/5fTUbtDFWt
- @tdpauw https://t.co/2OwnLiK5hb looks quite active, check it out for similar questions.
- @tdpauw https://t.co/TFOps8OuxZ
- Most important NPM packages to know. https://t.co/ubi1RdgoJj
- However, I ran into the issue where dependencies from a layer are no longer working. The same lambda without `"type": "module"` works ...
- @ErinTheSmall @SmolElectronics The Hippocratic License exists: https://t.co/SPzEM1wOsj
- @OwlCowl While I like the positive framing, it downplays the likelyhood of a serious event that makes a person unavailable. The odds of winning a life-altering amount in the lottery is ~1/10M, however around 1/1000 people have died at the age of 40.
- @OwlCowl And that does not take into account other (maybe also positive reasons) for someone not being able to work for a prolonged time.
- @OwlCowl I considered "sabbatical-factor", only works if that's possible in that organization.
- @AlexJonesax Can I see it from the bottom?
- @scarytoilet @yooogan @jke bist du das?
- @thisguymartin @NordicTweets For example: https://t.co/Gdob4Ik955
- https://t.co/HlqkNYqYQV https://t.co/ItKubvcU2c
- With GitHub CLI 2.4.0 I can finally set up a lightweight package.json -> repo info sync: https://t.co/9IXn6QsR6g
- Going to see Matrix now! #Trondheim https://t.co/6hO2UBFgmm
- @webology 2.4.0 is pretty new (three weeks), so it seems the official images haven't picket up, yet.
- Matrix Resurrection was awesome! A great mix of nostalgia, some update effects (nothing groundbreaking), and beautiful chemistry between Neo and Trinity! As a fan, I loved it, but standalone I wouldn't call it impressive.
- This weather forecast for the next days is something ... #gyda #Trondheim https://t.co/5KFW5mUbAS
- @alex_schl https://t.co/HecIE9hEKH
- @juliendubois @kartben Yes!
- @code @typescript It actually exists. Click the π’ button. https://t.co/Tytv0rOWjE
- @liran_tal Also what happens if people double click.
- Great take by @aiyyoshraddha on #OKRs https://t.co/n4om5Rc0Kc
- The first post in my #42firstprinciples series: Privilege https://t.co/OMg3vbWJuK
- This week is the last chance to apply for the Junior Cloud Engineer position that I am hiring for: https://t.co/0UNK0xzV1A You'll be learning from me how to build cloud solutions that enable @NordicTweets customers to build exciting #cellularIoT products that solve real problems. https://t.co/T1rGLBQtv0
- @kotzendekrabbe π https://t.co/IWvF4rPTxR
- @_francied I'd say I am 85% self-tought, but I think the hard part is knowing what to study. A university at least solves that for you through providing a curriculum. Especially when you are 18 and you don't know what's important.
- Day 4 and no helpful answer from AWS support ...
- @_francied Yes, Khan Academy showed that it's possible on a large scale.
- @AuslanderMemes @toggleModal
- WTF! https://t.co/anREXSZe1f
- @meikeco Perfect timing! https://t.co/dyUwp4LgZS
- #JavaScript https://t.co/8a0Bi6fAiD
- @Niklas_L I understand why you'd say that, but imagine being transparent to your business partners and customers!
- @_francied @kotzendekrabbe Thank you! βΊοΈ https://t.co/sASpyMptHe
- All achievements unlocked. #gyda https://t.co/bjWXWo71CH
- @Niklas_L Well, if you have transparency between businesses (no trade secrets) you can also disclose your cost structure, how much profit you (want) to make, not lie about capabilities, etc. Which means both parties can focus on maintaining a sustainable business relationship.
- @m4nl5r @kotzendekrabbe Thank you, Martin! I do talk a lot, sometimes :-D https://t.co/0GAJR2YYRu
- @jrosaproenca @kotzendekrabbe Thanks, man. It has been too long since we could meet face to face.π’
- @farah_chabchoub The number is useless, and damaging. But asking this question, having the discussion around it with the team is not. The number that matters is how often do users encounter problems in production, that needs to be tracked.
- Norwegian tumbleweed. https://t.co/ZaILQ4U9CB
- Had a fantastic chat with @ClearingTheWay_ on the challenges of finding the right balance between putting the finger in the wound and manipulating people in power to achive change and how that added layer of work can be an exhausting distraction from implementing the real change.
- @TormodHystad Yes, talk to @tdpauw!
- @kunstp1xel Technisch, ja, die Deutschen haben den Weihnachtsbaum ja erfunden...
- π― https://t.co/kHyXORao3q
- More hardware manufacturers should take notice of IKEA's TrΓ₯dfri Gateway that includes berry effective cable management. ππ» https://t.co/QMpDK2cd5d
- @tdpauw I am sorry that this is right now the only thing that keeps you going. You are such a wonderful person and I hope that you see this in yourself some day. I can't offer much more helpful but know that I am always happy to listen!
- @martinjuhasz Yes, which means I can now buy relatively cheap IKEA power plugs for some of the lights I have :-)
- My preferred way of exploring winter for years now! https://t.co/PXW3URu5gP
- @mathiasverraes The Lost in Space TV show on Netflix is great: https://t.co/Od8Sx23Im8
- @liran_tal Pickle them, and OMG!
- Deadline is today, and there will be no extension ... I have enough candidates already to make the difficult choice from. https://t.co/F7gNQUCtRv
- @DuncanConroy Because for this role we don't have unlimited capacity (it's a Junior role which requires training invests), and I have enough good candidates already.
- @DuncanConroy At @NordicTweets we are lucky that most roles receive a large amount of candidates, after all that's the benefit of being recognized as an industry leader.
- @tdpauw Fucking yes, man!
- π https://t.co/AZB2TdhAkt
- @nisrulz @hhariri Yes, agree. A physical switch will always have the best usability. However given the possibilities with today's lighting setups (think 10 multi-color LED light sources in your room), I see why some want this. It's no longer a simple on/off thing.
- @pavsaund It's so bittersweet.
- Thanks to everyone who shared this. I received a lot of impressive applications (one even had a C.S. PhD). I now have the tough challenge of selecting one of them... https://t.co/YqRQtIyGGO
- @wolframkriesing I hope something like this will eventually come to TypeScript, because TypeScript creates this false sense of safety which does not exist on the boundaries of your system. There are examples, like https://t.co/829jibFcUL but I'd like something more aspect oriented.
- @webPapaya @wolframkriesing Yes, I like that a lot. However I mostly typebox these days because I can reuse it's concepts.
- Send me electric snow blowers, I'll review them for free! #Trondheim
- Battery-less #IoT is such a gamechanger for sustainability! https://t.co/jgAuau7mlk
- @nisrulz @hhariri Here is a fancy thing I enabled: dim the lights when I start playing something on the TV. https://t.co/jv6eNDOljZ
- @RealSexyCyborg I think this is reason enough, being more transparent and giving people background information might not only sway some of the ignorant, but will also give supporters content to link to if they encounter it somewhere.
- Get a little insight into what it means to work as a student @NordicTweets: https://t.co/BdKfU9QlTV
- @NordicTweets We have jobs for students and graduates in Norway, Finland and UK! https://t.co/PQzXx9qu5D
- @witty_works I've just requested to join!
- @witty_works Thanks, appreciated, but I don't have things to promote. I'd like to leave the screen space to those that can make better use of the channels attention.
- @_francied @orenellenbogen's Leading Snowflakes: https://t.co/FKiYNM4pwo is a must read. Also @ldavidmarquet's approach to leadership works very well for people from classical, hierarchical backgrounds: https://t.co/CwWMPDZDV1 @BreneBrown and her work around Shame, is important material.
- @_francied @orenellenbogen @ldavidmarquet @BreneBrown I also loved "An Everyone Culture", https://t.co/KYvRMwC1qc, and Joy Inc. https://t.co/KzXBBj2S4P which look more on the organization level but provide great input for leaders.
- @fhinkel @Microsoft Oh wow, congrats. Sounds like the perfect job for you, I've never met anyone as knowledgable about JavaScript as you!
- @Jen_BMJ @RCN_Norway π
- @iheartfrankfurt Wenn OFC Bundesliga!
- LinkedIn is doing such a bad tool, I can't even see the jobs people in my network are hiring for.
- Email is the only inter-organization integration tool that works. But it seems nobody has managed yet to get a foothold in that space to make it good. I am thinking shared, collaboritive inboxes.
- Got bitten by a broken update last week in a web app, the update compiled fine, but didn't actually work. So starting the rewrite of that app now with Playwright end-to-end tests from commit 1.
- Mega kult @Fly_Norwegian! https://t.co/zT7Q8QJd9g
- @zerornella @frontend_love is this happening on your behalf?
- @maaretp How do I put that in the expenses form?! https://t.co/whZDpc83IV
- @RitzmannMarkus Na, there you have to pre-setup up topics, like "[email protected]", this does not work. It needs adhoc clustering, splitting, summaries of the most important things.
- @pati_gallardo It's too stupid to care about it.
- @pati_gallardo https://t.co/uerC0KX7Yu
- @pati_gallardo I guess this will only happen once they realize that they can't live in an NFT of a house, and can't eat an NFT of a burger.
- Update: Relying on ICANN Community-Developed Processes for a Safe, Secure Internet https://t.co/vfvMIEHjsO #ICANN
- "These assertions raised questions and concerns during our review, particularly with regard to ownership, as TLDs are not considered property."
- "Additionally, we are aware that some of the TLDs" [e.g. @dotHIV] "put out for auction by UNR are meant to support certain public interests, [...] with unique and specific binding obligations on the registry operator."
- "Despite assertions made publicly, ICANN has not indicated that the issuance of #NFTs was the primary concern relating to the transactions. ICANN questioned what purpose they serve. ICANN org has since been informed that the NFTs have been destroyed."
- "This only serves to make the issue more confusing since the NFTs were marketed as enhancing the value of the offering, but now are set out as unimportant and of no value."
- @zerornella @Frontend_Love Check the "Reporting" section on https://t.co/1MDyvXPVXh
- Made a comparison of icon libraries. I wanted to improve the contrast over Twitter emojis, and give a little less playful vibe. https://t.co/FFrp1AdAp5 is nice, because of the amount of icons, but I prefer https://t.co/Cn9Muoi74B for the abililty to change stroke width. https://t.co/QUHhF0ckrc
- Switching to SVG icons also allows to provide context-relevant colors, and allow to adapt to the overall color scheme of the app. https://t.co/C9PUNxQFON
- Not sure what cause that memory, but it's still a beautiful song: https://t.co/lpfy73m02N

- Going through the speakerslist gets me so excited about @boosterconf! @Felienne, @DJCordhose ... looking forward to meet!
- @ezagroba @boosterconf @Felienne @DJCordhose Yes, my thoughts exactly.
- @_francied No.
- @_francied Given that this costs around β¬2.50 on @Ecosia, probably not. https://t.co/8uyZuXSAT8 But the idea deserves a look at their job ad.
- @anisahob There are usually better terms, like underindexed/underrepresented groups, depending on the context. Ethnicity is often not well understood.
- @anisahob When talking about diversity, or lack thereof.
- But what if your name is not Karin? https://t.co/gcduJtYnNC
- Remember to bring snowshoes when visiting @NordicTweets #trondheim office these days. https://t.co/5VLs86Zigv
- @BenjaminHilborn @NordicTweets Uh, I can check next time I am at the office. If the vendor is visible on the outside in the public area, I can tell you.
- @pati_gallardo Curve will soon look better, because we are running out of tests: https://t.co/W83g2WQlWF
- Got a shopping notification for an RTX3080 from EVGA, only to notice that they don't shop to EU/Norway.

- Pretty interesting / bleak results in the @_JeffersonFrank AWS survey on gender diversity, only half of participants that identify as male think gender inequality exists in tech. https://t.co/mlST9LmpJL
- This report is based on asking 667 AWS professionals worldwide during the coronavirus pandemic in 2021. Gender: Male 87%, Female 9%, 4% did not specify their gender. https://t.co/VSsWS6U1hr
- @martinjuhasz I am not, I have a RX 6900 XT. It would only be for selling it, so I'll leave it to someone else in the queue.

- Great article on the Norwegian approach to excellence in sports: βIf you teach the skill set and the passion, then the athletes develop themselves,β he said. βAthletes are partly coaching themselves with coaches more as mentors and less as dictators.β https://t.co/VZHVlvx3kU
- It says a lot about the work culture here. Here is one of my colleagues describing the way we work @NordicTweets: https://t.co/PESRGWRDUA
- @gr2m Trello?
- @garylosh Yes, absolutely!
- We are getting noticeable more light again in #Trondheim https://t.co/dx52kTLgiO
- Expanse Season 6 was just great. Love this show. https://t.co/wjnLZ89MFh
- πππ is in! #GetVaccinated if you can! https://t.co/Mgw9BBVD0J
- Would be nice to get an @MicrosoftTeams notification when a person has been "available" for more than 5 minutes, after being "in a call", so I can call them.
- @TonyBologni I don't think they are huge on the science part :-D
- @OhhDoch @MicrosoftTeams Ohh, thanks!
- @KlaraMiffili https://t.co/PX9Q3SVew0 is an impressive collection of resources to help make tech projects more inclusive.
- @mattsches @powtac Wenn das zu teuer ist, kannst Du auch mit @twilio Chat anfangen: https://t.co/Xa2qADZKmd
- @AndyPalmer @malk_zameth There is a typo in the source (https://t.co/pInOw2JyAR): the range (lysvidde) is 33, however the height of that lighthouse is 13 m (7,0 height + 6 ground height) above sea level, so it can't reach 33 nautical miles (unit not given). It's more likely 3,3. https://t.co/crrgADQcru
- @malk_zameth @AndyPalmer I've contacted @kartverket, who are publishing this data.
- @malk_zameth @AndyPalmer You can see the shadow of the light here: marked with a π. The circle thing is a very typical appearance on the Norwegian coast: foundations for defense cannons built by the Nazis. https://t.co/hVsekEXaS9 https://t.co/Uv8N3c5XsS
- @nelisboucke Many JavaScript people who haven't tried it ... My bubble at least has people mostly happy with what it offers once the initial hurdle is taken.
- @TotherAlistair .com domains are overrated. You can achieve a good ranking on Google with any domain.
- I did a logic test today, and I scored average. However I am not disappointed. I like to do tasks with precision, without haste. https://t.co/AmHdiayNVe
- "The completion of the test was rather slow, which means that the candidate completed fewer tasks than most other people in the norm group in the default time. At the same time he/she was extremely accurate, so most of the answers given were correct."
- β€οΈβπ₯ It's just amazing to see what @NordicTweets supports here: https://t.co/hjkYRD8KNf
- @Lynoure It's not a public test. It's an assessment we use from https://t.co/Q4AxF5zBu0.
- Maybe the best level track of a game ever: https://t.co/FOWiowi1Fa Incredible when this started blasting in @ControlRemedy.
- "It depends." https://t.co/L6HRQaYGbW
- @w3ltraumpirat ... and it then creates an NFT of that banana and sells it so you can have the perfectly ripe banana and others, too!
- You know you found a good bug, when the AWS support is silent for 8 days.
- @EmmaBostian Sorry to hear that. Sending all the best wishes for you and the little one!
- @BenjaminHilborn The fix would be enough!
- Submit your #cellularIoT project idea @ElectromakerIO until 9th February 2022 and if your project is one of the 50 selected, get a free #thingy91 and the chance to win a US$1,000 cash prize! https://t.co/kd11vjo8yK
- @MaikNog I think that's fine, if they feel included when being addresses with "guys". I wouldn't consider this naive, for many native speakers it's a cultural norm. Where I try to raise awareness (in private) is if they are using it to address a group that includes non-men with "guys" >
- @MaikNog ... and I know (or can be certain) that there are people in the addressed group that don't consider themselves to be a "guy".
- @amyrlewin If you look at the numbers in Norway it's abysmal: In 2020, all-women-founded startups raised just 0.7% of investment in the Nordics. There are simply no female led startups to be able to reach the exit stage. https://t.co/I3dGLQD7Fa
- Heard back from AWS support, that Lambdas with ESM do not support dependencies in layers right now.
- Join me on March 30th in #Trondheim @awsnordics talking about #serverless #iot: https://t.co/KknPokIztC Thanks again to @webstep for sponsoring the event! https://t.co/mgaG628DiU
- Sip. Develop. Preview. Ship. would have been even cooler. https://t.co/GStZZUd7Ql
- Post #3 of my #42firstprinciples series is about #5whys: this method is powerful because of its simplicity ... but be careful not to come across as annoying. Showing persistence in uncovering fundamental truths takes practice, but always delivers. https://t.co/AqyDOnMVGz https://t.co/Uv6EoKgIGr
- @w3ltraumpirat Let it sip, my friend!
- @MaikNog We can make it our concern, and make the effort to be aware of these behaviours and make the kind effort to help others see it, too. I'd argue that you very often CAN know which way to address a group is appropriate. And you can always make a better choice and be a good example.
- @EskoLuontola We have that with Azure and we now advise our users publicly about it. That seems to got the ball rolling a bit.
- @friemae No. Just this info: The service team is looking into this. It is a work-in-progress and I am therefore unable to comment on an ETA. Adding a layer to support ES modules is not supported currently. As a workaround, you can add the dependency in the deployment package.
- Are you like me drinking the @ReproBuilds kool aid and configure your JavaScript projects using environment variables ALL THE TIME? I use a little helper which complains if they are missing and otherwise plays nice with #TypeScript: https://t.co/h5Wqz4A0zv
- @ReproBuilds No more ugly const myVar = https://t.co/m0Feq6HS8M_VAR ?? '' // what if it's blank?
- Very nice to see that @Fly_Norwegian is connecting the startup hubs of Norway #Trondheim and of Germany #Berlin starting from April 2022: https://t.co/2mC1PnYA5K #TRD βοΈ #BER @TrdTechPort @VisitTrondheim
- @paulbiggar @envoy But, you don't want the MONEYS?!
- The professional community you build *outside* of your current employer is the one that sticks with you for your entire career! https://t.co/rPYKjcp3Fo
- #Trondheim: 1346. https://t.co/8AdIgVIqC3
- @carlescufi Had a call with an applicant from Costa Rica, they are going to the beach today. :/ https://t.co/iD4zWIYwol
- @pati_gallardo Miss him ...
- @nuenanas @mirjam_diala IMO this is the best outcome, I'd love to make this happen one day.
- Too bad, it's an 16+ hours flight for me, and I am on another conference. But OMG, check out their venue! https://t.co/IB03qELfgF
- @EmmaBostian Welcome Freja Jaana! All the best for all of you!
- Got a workaround from @AWSSupport ππ» https://t.co/LemSDkh8EB Haven't verified it, yet. https://t.co/LFeWQgVVoV
- https://t.co/OrAOpX24sH
- Likely those male 10x rockstar ninja developers. https://t.co/ZYRzwrh2A2
- @olafurw @Twitter The reason why I only use a list view as my timeline.
- fetch is going Node.js native! https://t.co/ncN9seHchl
- @olafurw The more interesting challenge is how to get rid of them ...
- @witchofthetest @chrissbaumann @Maaikees @the_qa_guy @TG2G Love it, so awesome! π€π» I guess some slower songs (e.g. Pet by A Perfect Circle) are more Stoner Rock than Metal, could be interesting to see what the detector thinks.
- @rachelnabors In one company I was asked to micromanage my team, and to push them to work unpaid overtime. That (and a manipulative CEO) made me quit. In another company the CEO tried to force me to write a offer to a big potential client, which I knew we couldn't deliver.
- @rachelnabors I denied, and the CEO then unilaterally removed me from all client meetings and stopped talking to me. I resigned.
- @pati_gallardo These unsolicited drops are also used to abuse bugs in the DAO in order to trigger transactions as soon as the user interacts with them.
- Massive respects to Naomi (our super heroine of the maker scene) for making this video. It's terrible that she faces completely different standards compared to other creators, and that she needs to explain her appearance in order to protect her business. πͺπ» @RealSexyCyborg https://t.co/cR2hI7eh6G
- @morgler When I tested it, it was mostly focused on privacy not collaboration.
- @oredev https://t.co/5bXghE5AUr
- Awesome sauna hat! https://t.co/Srw5OPapc1
- @ThisIsMissEm @unpkg Yes. IP addresses are personal identifiable information, and technically sites are forwarding this to third parties without user consent, if they fetch resources from those parties. One could argue that certain third-parties do not store logs, but certainly not Google.
- Pretty big implication for usage of third-party services (CDN !) on websites for German citizens: https://t.co/tgmxEmQ9jS via @niklasplutte
- @ThisIsMissEm @unpkg There is a limitiation in this summary (https://t.co/tgmxEmQ9jS) ... which could mean that if a third-party service has NO static variant, like @unpkg, where the whole point is using dynamic access, websites might argue that it's technically neccessary, and therefore allowed. https://t.co/ioQyp67Nii
- @da_berni_ @niklasplutte Maybe: https://t.co/PxRSrqbgSh
- @da_berni_ @niklasplutte DNS resolution is user responsibilty, not web site owner.
- @ThisIsMissEm @unpkg In the ruling Google is also specifically mentioned as having demonstrated interest in collecting user data. So third-parties that e.g. are paid and have a zero tracking policy should be fine.
- @da_berni_ @niklasplutte What Cloudflare?
- @ThisIsMissEm @unpkg Well, one could argue that the are a) not changing as often as dependencies b) required for all users / in all parts of the website while replicating features of unpkg (mirroring) is too much effort. But, I agree, it's a not a solid argument.
- @pati_gallardo Pretty decent industrial espionage attack. All the John that shows up has to do is get his accounts.
- Something to cleanse your garbage collector: https://t.co/CSueJk8Ssj
- Looks amazing what's possible if you can tie real-time metrics to OKRs: https://t.co/cg7hkA2J9U
- @lucianadrian @niklasplutte Not necessarily... https://t.co/QZStBtZgia
